Shore Medical has always been my go to hospital. The Dr's and nurses saved my life years ago and also the life of my preemie son 10 years before that. I have always gotten excellent care each time I was a patient there!

ER DR I’d describe as incompetent and not knowledgeable about anything. Went in bc my left side felt like there was a ball of liquid there and have had issues with my menstrual cycle not being regular and a history of ovarian cyst. The dr gave me an X-ray and anti inflammatory (for what?) They didn’t even test my urine for anything other than pregnancy. And I requested an ultrasound and was told no. VERY POOR ER DR! HOWEVER IF IT WASNT FOR THE AWESOME/KIND NURSES IN THE ED, I would probably would have just walked right OUT.

Outpatient surgery department is outstanding. Very communicative, on time, caring knowledgeable and personable nurses and doctors. I had a very good experience and would recommend.

I have always been partial to large teaching hospitals, but due to an urgent situation, had to visit Shore Medical Center. What a pleasant surprise! From the moment I arrived, every staff member made me feel welcome and valued. Compared to my past experiences with major hospitals in Philadelphia, everything at Shore was so much better. My family and I will be trusting Shore with all of our healthcare needs from now on.
