Found the Director of Clinical Service rude as the phone was hang up while I was speaking and explaining an error was made in discharging a patient due to the LACK of communication between the private and public hospitals......The Director told me to call 000 (an emergency service) to get a patient transfer....Both the Private and Public hospitals LACK COMMUNICATION and patients well being.

There is a lack of compassion and medical knowledge as my loved one ended up in emergency because they administered insulin without food!
They have limited medication and nutrition and put pressure on family to supply the medication and nutritional supplements. The clinical services manager Anne is aggressive, rude and hung up on us without any useful resolution to our concerns. She has a combative style and doen’t realise she is dealing with stressed people.

Outdated facilities, bathroons are out of the 50s, nurses are nice, appear to run on skeleton staff to cut costs. Dissapointing overall, would rather wollongong public hospital as a private patient.

Staff are excellent and very helpful. The hospital looks fresh and clean.
