The amount of horror stories that come out of this place is pretty rank… A lot of non compassionate medical “professionals” who lack empathy or lack proving knowledge or insight on your condition. Wait times are horrible too

They proceed to operate on me against my wishes of being but under while being awake . The surgeon Dr S. Parameswaran started the incision before my arm was numb. He even was making jokes about me before the surgery to his staff about having a “big surgery” to do. DONT LET THIS MAN TOUCH YOU! The administration is just as unprofessional as their medical team was. Please do your self a favour and go to bonnyville or even edmonton.

Hit or miss when it comes to this hospital. Terrible experience when I took my child in, having a severe allergic reaction. Dr on call was completely useless. Could hear nurses gossiping with (& without) the dr on call. INCREDIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL. Will drive to bonnyville or ANY other hospital before I go back to this joke of a hospital.

I have lived here all my life.Born in hospital on point in 1966.I have never in a million years seen such a poopy job on how hospital is run. It's full of indigenous people with drug problems etc.For a white person to get care there is a joke.Seniors coming in with real issues from working getting old and pay taxes their whole life can't get any care. But if your an indian don't pay taxes at all .Maybe call an ambulance cause you want a ride to town. What is wrong with this picture.I hear seniors leaving coldlake just because of crap like this.I am so ashamed about this place. My father in law is in there now as i speak.Doctors can't even make a call on an x-ray and be rite.Seniors can't even get a bed or room there if white.Meth heads, drunks etc in there. When i was young they didn't need rent a cops to watch hospital.I so hate this place i have lived all my life.

As a patient in the ER last night, I just wanted to say thank-you to the new Doctor and the nurses who took such great care of me. Especially to the young nurse who was taking care of the young men in the bed next to me. You handled them with such patience and professionalism, the best I've ever seen. Thank-you so much!

2023 January 4th doctors traumatized my 4 year old. She had an earring back piece stuck in her ear lobe. She should have been booked for an appointment to be put asleep for the procedure but they just held her down have her medicine to make her drowsy so she wouldn't fight them, the medicine burnt her throat after that they numbed her ear with a needle and cut her little ear lobe open to get the backing out then stitched her ear with non dissolvable stitches!! Very disgusted with how they handled this procedure!!!!

Nurses don't know the policies or just ignore them. IV fluid not labeled and continued to be used day after day on my sick baby. I realized after 3 days when it should have been changed after 24hrs. Nurses questioning drs clinical judgement in earshot of patients. I was concerned about breathing while sleeping; when they checked oxygen levels and they were low they would wake him up and then tell me look they're good. Yeah, he's scream crying now and sitting up. Super accurate. The food was awful beyond describing. House keepers were nice and the dr was pretty good. Would recommend going anywhere else.

I went into the ER with a swollen arm after having a pic line removed (I had it for 6 weeks of antibiotics). I had suspicions of it being an infection or a blood clot. The ER doctor working was Dr. Lu. She stated that since it was after hours I couldn't get any blood work done. That it was not a blood clot, so all she could do was give me antibiotics. I refused since I was just on them for 6 weeks and I wanted to get blood results back first. She then tried to take a swab of the scab on my arm to do a culture and sensitivity test. You can only do this test if there is fluid to swab, not on a scab. I left with no diagnosis or treatment. I later went back to the ER where I saw a different doctor, had bloodwork, and an ultrasound. Then I did get diagnosed, with a blood clot! I was very unsatisfied with my care, or lack there of, from Dr. Lu.
