the rudest dr and nurse ever i had last night, i came in with severe abdominal pain, she asks me how severe is your pain zero been nothing,10 as you hit by a truck, are you serious i never got hit by a truck before, than the dr walks in telling nothing we can do for you here other than x-ray and some bloodwork, and give me 3 regular tylenol for severe abdominal pain that didn’t do anything and didn’t bother to ask me what you been taking for pain at home, when i called the nurse because my pain was getting worse she stormed into the room yelling at me asking me why you are calling me? are you serious right now she was very disrespectful and very rude and the dr was on call was very arrogant, this hospital needs to be replaced with better facilities who actually care for patients who need medical attention, anyways they sent me home with absolutely nothing and i’m still having lots of abdominal pain at least refer me to ultrasound to check why i’m having so much pain, i do not recommend going to this hospital not unless you like to get miss treated.

If I could give negative 5 stars I would… the triage nurse was rude, unconmunicative, and had terrible bedside manner. We waited over 9 hours for my father to be seen. Essentially we were told that if we were not dying or inches away from death we would not get a bed any time soon. The rooms look like something from a prison hospital: holes in the wall, paint peeling, and cracked walls.

Have had to go to emergency at NEH several times in the past months. Is it outrageously busy? Yes. Do the doctors , nurses and all other staff give kind, intelligent and compassionate care? Hell, yes. With the Alberta Health Care in the mess it’s in its a wonder these people pour their energy into every day the way they do. I have nothing but respect and appreciation for these overworked professionals! Thank you too the whole team. 💗

We were over at the NECHE because my husband was experiencing shortness of breath. We would like to commend all the staff that tended to his needs. I want to start with the triage nurses; then Andriana, the respiratory therapist, who even noticed that I being on oxygen offered the use of the hospital’s oxygen tank; doctor J.H. Chang; the nurses aid Amber and the people who worked in the lab to efficiently deliver the results so that the doctor could make a diagnosis.

My experience while in total pain was a nightmare. This is what has been described to me by others as a hell hole. I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy go to this place of horrors!
