Tirisham Gyang, as she possess what, in my experience, so many neurologists do not; a true passion in her work and a real interest in her patients’ wellbeing. I have experienced MDs who spend less than 10 min with me, do not listen to me, just tell me what they think I need to do, prescribe some form of medical regimen, and send me on my way; this is not the case with Dr. Gyang, as she is interested in the Bio-Psycho-Social-Cultural-Spiritual aspects of those she assists. My neurological issues are very complex, as I have been diagnosed with Dysautonomia, and due to the nature of this neurological disorder, diagnostic test results are often elusive or inconclusive, making management of the symptoms very frustrating. Dr. Gyang is an MS specialist, who even though I do not have MS, has been very involved with my care; taking the time to drill-down in search of other possible causes of my symptoms, explaining outcomes, introducing ideas, and developing a care plan that I feel a part of. She is a compassionate, driven, sharp minded professional, who returns calls and expresses interest in patient updates. And because she possess a very gentle personality that is eager to be engaged with her patients, she is easy to communicate with and receive information from. Again I am so grateful for her!
