Dr. Helton treats patients as individuals not as chart numbers. He treats each patient as if he/she is the only patient he has. He cares about his patients and what is happening in their lives. He doesn't have the "God" syndrome, acknowledges that he doesn't have all the answers, and doesn't hestitate to recommend another doctor who might be better able to help, if he thinks that his knowledge re a specific medical problem is limited, and he's not condescending when explains the problem you have and what treatment he reommends. He doesn't tell a patient to do anything that he wouldn't recommend to a member of his family. We don't think that there's another doctor better than he is, and he's been our family's doctor for 15 years.
