I just want to say thank you to all the staff at Dauphin Hospital. My Husband and I have both been welcomed and very well cared for each of the seven times we were in their maternity ward! Very well cared for!!! It makes me amazed every time I reminisce about our experiences there in the past 14 years. My daughter also had pneumonia and they took excellent care of her! My son was born with Down Syndrome and had low blood sugar, low heart rate etc. and they gave us the utmost of care before he was flown to Winnipeg. In the last week, I have heard of four people that were taken to Dauphin regional health center and each were amazed at the care they received. Some of them had come from other health centres and found kindness and compassion and great care at Dauphin Hospital. Thank you for using your valuable energy to unselfishly take care of other people!

I want t0 thank the Doctors and Staff of the Dauphin Regional Health Centre for the excellent care I received recently while in Emergency and ICU. Even though Emergency was quite busy that day, if I required assistance there was someone there to help with a smile. For four days in ICU I received amazing care from all levels of staff. I am glad to hear that the Emergency Department is being renovated and updated. I sincerely hope the Ambulance Bay doors are somehow stopped from bringing cold air into the department.

I have worked there as well as been a patient and daughter of parents who were patients. It is true you can complain all you want nothing will improve. Why staff needs to take breaks all at same time is beyond me, the buzzers go on incessantly. Most of the staff seem not to really want to be there but in a small town there is not much else for good paying jobs with benefits. You could die waiting in the ER. there is no other choice if you live here just hope you never have to go OR move if you getting old!
