I’ve had two simple surprises at this place, and in both times I had a huge infection problem after the surgery. Equipment are not clean at all. Just go somewhere else.

I took my teen to this emergency room which is an hour from our home because I was told they were the best. Boy oh boy was that incorrect. He was suffering with his mental health after the death of his father. Our family doctor threw him on an antidepressant that sent him into psychosis and caused him to be suicidal. We waited 10 hours in emergency. He was put into a room that had multiple holes punched in the walls that were fixed by throwing some mud on them. Everything in the room was filthy. They moved him back into the waiting area after about 4 hours to put someone else in the room and I watched them do zero cleaning before putting the other patient in. While waiting our turn I observed on multiple occasions the nurses being rude to the patients treating them like they were a nobody. I learned of each person’s illness because they spoke loudly and clearly to the patient in the waiting room regarding why they were there and what they were going to do to rectify the situation. What happened to patient confidentiality? When it was my sons turn everyone in the wait room knew he was there because he was suicidal. They served us with legal papers saying he was no longer allowed to leave the hospital and they moved him into what they call psyc emerge. It was a locked unit just off of the emergency waiting room. It was horrendous! I wouldn’t leave my dog there let alone a family member. It was just like a jail. His room was what they called one of the nicer rooms. It had a gurney in the middle of the room. A fitted sheet that had multiple green stains on it, no pillow and a light flannel sheet to cover yourself with. The walls were disgusting and the doors were worse. I cried my eyes out when I had to drive home and leave him there. There were people yelling and screaming on the unit. There was one bathroom for about 10 patients and it was filthy and not fit for humans. I complained to the staff. One of the nurses I could tell was annoyed with me complaining and told me there was nothing she could do about it. Another nurse told me she agreed with me and has days she doesn’t even want to go to work because it is so dirty and broken. Garbage’s in the hallways were overflowing and soiled clothes were on the floor outside of my sons room for the 2 days he spent on that unit. I don’t blame the nurses or doctors for any of this but management should be embarrassed of themselves. There is zero excuses for the state of disrepair it is in. I took pictures of everything and contemplated taking my complaints to the news. My son was eventually moved to acute mental health and he has been treated very well and the unit is kept clean.

An awful hospital, terrible care, no accountability and dirty. The social workers have no idea how to do their jobs. A traumatic experience for my family.

Disturbing... that's all I can say. Was admitted by Ambulance to the Charleton campus after an intentional overdose. The ER gave me activated charcoal to help rid my system of the meds, and they monitored my vitals for 24 hours. THATS IT. I had to contact my family Dr for followup, and had to find my own aftercare. A psychiatrist finally visited me after almost 24 hours, and after 2 minutes of chatting discharged me with no further followup. If you are taken here with any sort of mental issue GOOD LUCK. My family Dr told me to reach out to patient relations regarding my visit, have yet to hear back from them after 4 months (no surprise). Thank God I was able to find my own supports after my visit to this place, otherwise I'd likely be dead. Someone did contact me after approx 10 days for a followup clinic, she was extremely rude, couldnt or wouldnt answer my questions. I told them I wasn't interested. They offered zero help to an inpatient so I have no idea what they'd offer 2 weeks after. DO NOT LET THE AMBULANCE TAKE YOU HERE!!!!!

After being referred to the IMRAC Clinic in I believe January or February this year from the ER it wasn't a pleasant experience.. First of all the receptionist didn't seem like she liked her job. The wait for each visit I went to was ridiculous. 45 minutes in the room just for the pharmacist to show up u feel like a parrot asking the same questions over and over. Have to add no registration so no arm band at any visit. That being said the nurse taking blood how did she no I was the right patient. Very disturbing. One of my apps they wanted a liver gallbladder and kidney scan. Asked him how long that would take as we all no tests take time. Oh no he said it will be soon. 4 days later had the test. I don't no if it was luck or figured he had to prove a point. Each time I was there never weighted me, I found the scale and weighed myself and no one asked what I weighed. On my last visit the doctor didn't even look at me at all, talked into the computer the whole time. Wanted to start me on a med but needed a EEG first. Had that done but was never notified of the results and no med called to my pharmacy. She opens up the door to exam room and shouts to the receptionist needs appt in 4 weeks. I told her I wouldn't be back. So very unprofessional they all need to go. The only 2 people that are extremely nice and professional is the Director and the Clincal Manager. I hope that other patients have a better experience that I did
