Over the past year I have bee treated for cancer I have gotten to know the Owen Sound hospital very well and particularly the awesome cancer centre, their oncologists, chemo and support staff

All the nurses sit on there bum and talk about what they have done or going to do on the weekend. I would rather go to the vets and get better help

I have to give O/S hospital 5 stars those nurses are real heroes, I went in with chest pain and A/Fib. within moments they had me in a bed doing an ECG ,moved me as fast as possible to a room all hooked up to IV's mentors everything. Dr, came real fast. Did more ECG. They had me shocked , my heart back to normal rhythm and ready to go home. When the Dr. came in to se how I was doing , I said I was lucky they did not have to jump start my heart. He replied "Oh yes we did you just slept through it all " In 3 hrs I was on my way home good as new. Thank you all the Dr.s & nurses I did not even have time to find out who saved my life. Great service when you need it.in spite of the shortage of these wonderful people.

I had chemotherrapy treatments since Dec. 2021. I was so gratefully impressed with the oncology department at Owen Sound hospitsl. The nurses and staff, doctors, etc. were compassionate, caring and overall made my esperience wonderful even with all the side effects, etc. I want to give a shout out to Maryanne, Gail, Selma, Crystal, and many others who made my experience much better than expected. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Gail Mason

The best hospital I have ever seen, great staff, nice doctors and nurses. They really respect your rights, your opinions and your beliefs. They keep up on everything being tidy and neat. With a soothing and peaceful atmosphere, they make the people feel as at home as much as possible. And try their best to attend to everyone's needs. And take consideration of people's diets and allergies. Most hospitals I have seen in my life treat people like they are nothing but numbers on a sheet that they just want you in and out as fast as possible. But here they see you as actual people and treat you as such with kindness and respect. Keep up the great work. ð

Staff Psychiatrist Dr. Shah keeps his phone on during assessments; answers non-urgent calls; then asked prompted question. Privacy breach for sure. Flies and mold in window sills. Smokers at the front entrance, not to mention the moron security services.
