I stayed in this hospital a few years ago. Dr Kubricht did my surgery and would usually come in around noon to see me. I wanted to go home after a few days and he said he wanted to see the results of a test first. I called his office that afternoon to see if I could leave and got scolded by his staff for calling them. He showed up the next day around noon to say I could leave. I stayed a whole day for nothing. The food was the worst ever. The staff NEVER once emptied my trash and only changed my bed the first day and I was there for 3 1/2 days. I will never have surgery here again.

I have used the Surgical Specialty Center for years with various doctors and specialties. Parking is not bad but the access to doctors is a lot easier than going to any emergency room. Baton Rouge Orthopaedics, on the ground floor, has two outstanding doctors; Dr. Steve Etheredge and Dr. Brent Bankston. Both are very personable and very good. The X-ray staff are wonderful, too, and are in the same suite.

Was sent here by my Dr for MRI. I was impressed with the cleanliness, & ppl were very friendly. That’s always a plus for me. I would recommend.

I’ve used Surgical Specialty Center of BR for quite a few different procedures for myself as well as my children and they did an outstanding job
