Having had 3 surgeries in 2 years I found the staff & Dr’s brilliant. The nurses were struggling to keep up due to staff shortages which led to many errors in my 2nd stay and formal complaints put to WA Health. In the investigation they couldn’t even find my paperwork for my stay, yet I had a 3 hr surgery was in Bunbury Hospital 3 days before being transferred Bridgetown for 6 days and then being transferred to Busselton for 4 days. I am coeliac with some other allergies and yet while in Bunbury Hospital the only food they could feed me was apples & mashed potato. Bridgetown Hospital were brilliant, Busselton Hospital gave me takeaway menus and told me to order out. All I can state is SW regional Health needs massive health. Bunbury Hospital issues with my medication yet Bridgetown & Busselton were brilliant
In all I think the state government needs a wake up call of what is happening in regional hospitals🤨
