Terrible service at emergency department. Nursing team are not trained for real emergencies, rude people , doctors are bad as well. The medial team doesn't know how to deal with a real emergency. Maybe they are ok for minor things, I don't know. If you are really bad, don't go there. You will die.

I feel as if staff just do the bare minimum to get through the day. No plan of care or next steps is shared with the family . Facilities are old and falling apart

Very long waiting time for tests reports during emergency visit and poor coordination among staff.

I spent a month in the Rehabilitation unit. Dr. P. Jukovic and the staff are exemplary. Everyone regardless of their position were polite, courteous and helpful. In one in their own way contributed to my recovery and I am very grateful for the care I received

I can’t say enough about the Emerg Staff. They are so overworked and understaffed, but that not the doctors’ and nurses’ fault. The staff there are doing the best they can under almost impossible conditions. I watched for 8 hours yesterday, the crush of patients, and all the while the two, yes just two, triage staff did their best to move folks through. My friend was caring attended to on a bed in the Emerg hallway, and then moved at 4 pm into the regular Emerg space/room, where he has been receiving close and compassionate care ever since. A passing through Hospital Security even brought him a requested extra sandwich and juice after a delicious looking chicken pot pie dinner. I was slightly jealous. All credit goes to these amazing folks who are doing their best under incredibility difficult conditions. Is our Premier or our Minister of Health doing something meaningful to help? I’ll let others answer that question. Thanks again, Toronto East, for being there for my friend.
