extremely bad bedside manner, doesnt listen to patients concerns at all even though they know their own body better then anyone, will ask what works for you then give you something that doesnt work at all even after being told that it doesnt work, he knows everything so dont bother to tell him otherwise, waste of time and hes a waste of skin

I saw Dr. Garbutt in emergency when having to come off the highway in extreme abdominal pain. He took me seriously and ordered lab and x-rays which confirmed his diagnosis. He gave me a couple of options for treatment while I was in hospital. The next morning he repeated the x-rays which were better and I was on my way home and not to the operating room. Later on the way home the same pains occured and I have to say I was more pleased with him and his treatment than I was with the ER doctor I had in Calgary. The nurses in ER were marvelous. Blairmore should be glad to have Dr. Garbutt there.
