If referred to Dr. Kavanagh, run - and don't look back. Ego the size of TBRHSC. Told me I had cancer, removed my kidney - and I didn't have cancer. And his office staff are cruel and heartless. And terrible at providing information, and don't seem to care about that. Dr. Kavanagh seems nice enough, but he is brutal.

Alex was very knowledgeable and helpful. He considered my opinion as a patient, and got to know me before making any suggestions.

What a fantastic Doctor!! He makes you feel very comfortable and explains everything in down to earth language so that you understand exactly what is going to happen before & after surgery. He includes the family in discussions to make sure they are aware of the outcome of surgery. He called our home a few times after surgery to see how my husband was doing and to make sure that everything was going well….which is not done very often in this day & age. He is one fantastic Doctor and I would highly recommend him!!Thanks Dr. Kavanagh for all your excellent care!

Very friendly and knowledgable, made me feel at ease throughout the procedure. However the staff in his office did not provide enough information prior to the procedure (what time to be there, what to eat or drink, etc). a written pamphlet at the pre op would be ideal.
