Dr Tony Wild is great. He does like to take a lot of notes, but I find it helpful for my own introspection and understand that every doctor has their methods. He is quite friendly and I appreciate what he has done for me (and helped me accomplish). I recommend him.

He was ok until he fell asleep in a number of my consultations. Not a good look for a psychiatrist supposedly out to help people struggling in life, feeling disempowered, unheard and invisible. He literally closed his eyes and fell asleep in sessions in front of me. Didn’t make me feel good about myself, reinforced feelings of unworthiness. I am not sure there are many jobs where you get paid for being asleep on the job

I began seeing Dr Wild this year after suffering from depression and anxiety for a long time through my formative years because therapy was simply not working for me. Within 2 sessions I was diagnosed with ADHD and on the 3rd I was put on medication which has been life-changing. Dr Wild is great to talk to, he is a bit eccentric but that is to be expected with anyone who is knowledgeable as him. As a young female I never would have even thought that I had ADHD but looking back in my life it makes a lot of sense. He is very well-informed on the presentations of ADHD in women. He does sometimes run late but that is because he is thorough. It is rare to find a doctor that is as caring and I appreciate what he has done for me. His fees are also super reasonable and you get free parking :)

Dr Wild saved my marriage and my life! I have seen 5 psychiatrists in the past 7 years, and each time I have left the first appointment with 5-12 scripts after 30mins. Dr Wild took 5 appointments to finish my diagnosis, and got supervision to confirm it. He also only adds/raises/removes/reduces 1 thing at each appointment. Each appointment is an hour long, and his fees are reasonable! I never feel rushed, and I never feel like a burden. Dr Wild also encourages and treats with other therapies not just medication. He also encourages your opinion on what he should do. He is extremely knowledgeable and knows his stuff, and educates his patients along the way. Dr Wild also encourages you to bring people into the appointments with you so he can get a bigger picture of the affects of your mental health from those who are around you more often. Honestly, saved my marriage and my life! Just always 10-30mins late, but all his patients don’t mind because they know he is a quality doctor! Oh yeah, and whilst he seems a little emotionless as psychiatrists do, after a few appointments you can see his humour! He also has a brilliant memory and often remembers the intangibles which is very special!

I have been a patient of Dr. Wild’s for many years. Dr. Wild is the most caring and compassionate Doctor I have ever experienced. He is in my opinion the leader in his field when it comes to presribing the most effective medication. He has always worked with me and respected my moral compass and integrity. He has always listened and never talked at me or down to me and his care has changed my life immeasurably and I cannot thank him enough. Any patient would benefit from the his care, skill and compassion.

I can’t believe the negative comments above. I was referred to Dr Wild by another Psychiatrist because I was not getting better and now I am back at work and feeling the best I have for a few years. He can run late, but in my case this was because he was being thorough. His charges are reasonable and he actually had a good knowledge of therapies as well as meds. I found him friendly and calm.
