Dr. Barbara Newton was very knowledgeable and detected the symptoms instantaneously without major tests. I had two other doctors look at my symptoms in a North York General Hospital, they had no idea what the problem was. Dr. Newton is very good.

Dr. B. Newton has been my doctor for 16 years,and has continued to show myself and my family nothing but great care...Over the years, she had to make changes not because she wanted to but because she HAD to do to the lack of care that our govt has order... She is one women doctors who work very hard, and makes the effort to understand what the issue intails... Keep up to great work.. DOC!!! thank you so much for everything...

Dr. Newman has been my doctor for several years. She is cordial and friendly though I don't feel that her knowledge extends what I can determine via the internet and books. I don't go to see her to often as my health is good (thank G-d) and I feel that she lacks any knowledge and even respect for alternative medicine . Nonetheless, she is pleasant to deal with and is always available for to ofer provide scripts and referals when necessary.

Dr. newman has been my doc for 5+ yrs ut I must say she is very quick on the appointmnents and soesnt answer all of my questions re my child. I dont feel comfotable with her knowledge and am in the process of finding another doc. She is great at returning calls. She failed to give my child antibiotic for a severe throat infection and i had to take my child to another doc, when I got ther the other doc said give this med NOW to your child, thank go d I did, my child was in EXTREME pain but doc newman wanted nature to take its course!!!!

Dr. Newman has been my family doctor for my whole life. She is very good at what she does and knows when to let something pass, escalate it with more tests, or when to send to a specialist. Sometimes she is quick during appointments, but I’ve come to understand that she does this when the issue I’m having is something that isn’t as serious as I thought and can be fixed quickly. When it’s something more serious, she takes her time. I trust her judgment and appreciate what she does for me. She is also always exactly on time and her staff is nice.

Dr. Newman has been my doctor for over 25 years. I find her kind, thoughtful and extremely competent. She calls me back when I have an issue and gives me the care and attention I really appreciate.

She was my doctor for 14 years. Overtime I liked her less and less. She’s in and out, she
doesn’t offer a lot of time and explanation for the medical issue. She decided to change the time schedule of one of my routine test with no notice or explanation. I found out when I called to schedule the appointment. I left a message with her nurse asking for an explanation and received a letter that I was dismissed as her patient and COULD NOT see another doctor in the practice. Dr. Newman did the BEST FAVOR ever for me. I have found a wonderful doctor that cares about his patients. My acid reflux was never treated by Dr. Newman and I
was having worse issues which was effecting my stomach. I have been told by my new doctor after an EGD that the acid reflux is pretty bad. He also said that I should have been on
acid reflux medication. Dr. Newman had said that I did not need acid reflux medication. I have spoken with other people that I know that have been or are currently seeing Dr. Newman and they receive the same treatment. She is in and she is out. No questions, she just wants easy $.
She was extremely late for a colonoscopy for me. I received no apology and no explanation from her. A nurse offered the apology and explanation. The new facility is wonderful, Covenant Outpatient treated me like I was the only patient for the EGD and the second visit for a colonoscopy and they were very busy both days. I didn’t feel like I was being rushed like sending cattle through the way Gastro Intestinal has always operated. My thanks to Dr. Newman for releasing me as a patient and forcing me to look for another doctor. She did me a wonderful favor and a life changer. I feel 100% better now with my acid reflux.

She has been my doctor for the past 15 years, however, I have found that it has become increasingly harder to get an appointment to see her in a timely manner. In a pinch, they will not fit you in and it is not helpful, for those moments when you really need to see your doctor. I may look for a new doctor elsewhere.
