I LOVE Dr. McKibbin! He did my c-section 3 months ago, and I have nothing but good words to say about him. I hope he stays at the clinic for many more years as I would like him to do the rest of the c-sections that I will need. I also have seen him in the walk in clinic and all he had was time and patience for me and my 2 month old. If I didn't have a family dr. already I would try to see him for sure! Those who can't handle his fun personality need to lighten up!

Dr. McKibbin seems very knowledgable but doesn’t seem to have much compassion or time for patients. He would do well to take time to listen more and make less insensitive jokes.

My 2 year old son had what looked like 3 raspberry seeds on his forearm. I took him to our family Dr and he said “It’s a benign tumour. It could get bigger, it could fall off. I don’t know” Took him to McKibbin…”It’s a benign tumour, it could get bigger or ” yeah, I know fall off, I don’t think it needs to be there. “You’re right it doesn’t. Let’s get rid of it.” 15 minutes later he’d frozen the thing off with liquid nitrogen. My son sat there and looked at him with a smile on his little face the whole time, not a squeal nor a yelp. 3 years later he removed a broken sewing needle from this same kid’s heel during a surgical procedure. McKibbin has good bedside manner and a British sense of humour. He really means no harm. I think he’s bloody fabulous!

I was referred to Dr. McKibbin for a surgery – and I found him very efficient and thorough. He answered all of my questions and concerns. I didn’t have to wait long for a surgery date. I was very pleased to have Dr. McKibbin as my surgeon.

Dr. McKibbin removed our children’s tonsils in November 2008 and we will always be thankful. Both kids had been both very sick in the past with their tonsils, now it is a totally different story. Especially for our son, who’s health has improved 110% Thank you Dr. McKibbin for caring!

Having entered Lacombe ER with troubles breathing. The Medical Staff were knowledgeable, and very helpful. they were informed that I was on a current Asthma control medication. Dr. McKibbin, informed me that my controller medication may not be the problem, but a potential lung infection may be the source of my visit. Hearing this news, and having an potentially fatal lung infection the year before. Dr. McKibbin could see the anxiety this prognosis, was causing. He pulled me aside, and said “I’ll make sure your going to be ok” As he sent me off to X-ray. Upon receiving the results of my chest X-ray. Dr. McKibbin, put me on an antibiotic regiment, and new controller medications. Dr. Mckibbin, has restored my belief that good Dr’s are out there, and should be recognized.
