Dr Metcalfe is the kindest, most understanding and patient doctor I have ever met. We had a tough time dealing with my diagnosis and he made himself available as many times as we needed before surgery.
Surgery went so well and now I am cancer free. Thank you.

So easy to talk to and understanding. Great bed side manners. Very skilled surgeon and really takes time and care after surgery. Hit the jackpot with this surgeon.

I saw this guy in 2017 for some severe pain I was having in my testicles, he told me “It’s just varicocele pain, and yours’s is small so it shouldn’t hurt that much, I have a big one and I’m fine, take a tylenol when it hurts” and sent me on my way now in 2021 the pain hasn’t gone away, it’s gotta really bad lately and an ultrasound found two masses growing. This idiot didn’t even bother to get any other tests done because he was so sure he was right. Never see him unless you want to be prescribed a freaken Tylenol for your tumors

Really amazing doctor- very kind and great sense of humor. Very talented and skilled surgeon. He did my prostate cancer surgery robotically and I was home the next day! He also treated my wife for very painful/huge kidney stones. Even with the tough days with CoVID and doing phone call visits he has gone above and beyond.

I’ve waited 3 months to have an appointment over the phone with him as I was referred through from the emergency room. I have chronic kidney disease since birth (kidney reflux at a very young age). I live with frequent UTI’s, kidney stones and pain from the eptopic kidney side flank and down to my bladder. When I don’t have a severe UTI, I live with symptoms of one. Lists include excessive protein in urine, blood in urine, previous urethra stents (x2) placed and removed, high blood pressure/high pulse, extreme flank pain leading down to bladder, etc. Having pain radiating down to the bladder is only 1 of many symptoms of why I was referred to him. My phone call appointment took only 2.5 minutes as he said he can only prescribed pills that may or may not work for my bladder. I asked about my other symptoms or other possible diagnosis for my condition and he declined to look further into it. I asked about my previous complications and records and he stated he did not need to look into it. My questions with why I’m having frequent severe UTI’s or stones (treated every 3 months like clockwork) he refused to look further into. No compassion and no drive for his speciality. I told him about a pulling sensation from my bladder that leads up through to my urethra when I void and he said he never heard of that and doesn’t know what I’m talking about. My family doctor is confused on why there is no further examination into my case and why it was brushed off. Being referred to Dr Heinnman with great relief is an understatement. Run for the hills if you’re looking for help as there is a lack of it here! I placed a 1 star for staff as I called after waiting 3 hours after my scheduled appointment and the lady at the desk sound bothered as to why I would call to make sure I still have an appointment… he’s a busy doctor if I didn’t know that already. My time is irrelevant? Those of you who have had a pleasant experience are the lucky few in between the rest of us.
