Dr Wysoczanski is a terrible pyschiatrist. Avoid him at all costs. He is not equipped to deal with mental illnesses. I am very unhappy with how I was treated under his care.

I first met Dr Daniel when he was doing his psychiatry training at Belmont. He sat in on a consult with my admitting dr at the time and I just felt so comfortable with him there – he seemed so kind and interested in what was going on. More recently I had another admission to Belmont and the previous dr had no capacity and I was fortunate to get Dr Daniel, now a fully- fledged psychiatrist as my admitting dr. I was pretty thrilled to get him and I can honestly say he is the kindest, most attentive psychiatrist and now he is in my life things are improving a lot. He is one of the good guys in the profession.

He is the best! Is so kind and has helped me so much. Glad I found him.

I met Daniel whilst a patient at Belmont Private. I found him to be extremely polite and did not judge. All of his decisions were sound clinically. I felt that the nursing at the hospital left a lot to be desired due to the nurse:patient ratio, but I was happy with Daniel. I would have definitely saw him as an outpatient, but transferred out of the area. I would recommend him.

Dr Daniel Wysoczanski misdiagnosed me and based it on the referral he received rather than anything I said throughout our appointment.

When Dr Daniel first started treating me I was inclined to give him a negative review because despite him being pleasant I did not feel as if I was getting what I thought I needed, and I felt like I was fighting him often. However, after having stuck through it and working/being a patient with him for four years now for a few severe diagnoses, I can confidently say that he has been very knowledgable and given me the most fitting treatments thus far, and through his care and support network I am actually finally starting to build a life for myself. Once I became a bit more open minded toward's Dr Daniel's advision, I found that it has been a very constructive and collaborative experience- I appreciate how patient he has been, and he always validates my concerns while also respectfully challenging my difficult attitudes where necessary. While I feel as though he has taken every input I've expressed into his consideration, Dr Daniel's treatment is still confident and firm to match the knowledge and experience he has accrued- which a lot of people may find is not ideal for them. But in my case it was just what I needed :)

I have been a patient of Dr Daniel for approx. two years. I always find him to be pleasant and easy to work with. I have had life-long mental illness (BPD, ADHD) and have had multiple rounds of therapy and have been on medication for 20 years. I always go in knowing what I want to discuss in terms of medication adjustments and he works with me to find the right medication (if adjusting) and discusses all the potential side effects. I am surprised by some of the commentary here. For what I need at this stage of my life, he's been great and I have not complaints.

Dr. Daniel seemed nice at first; he was reserved but seemed like a decent doctor. However, I ended up having a horrible experience with him. Not only did he consistently discredit my symptoms and feelings, but he basically kicked me to the curb when I wasn't improving. When I hit one of my lowest points, he abruptly discharged me. This left me without access to prescriptions for the heavy medications that he put me on, or any ongoing psychiatric care. This experience has led me to believe that Dr. Daniel is not qualified to deal with patients who have serious or more severe mental illnesses. So I would highly recommend looking elsewhere. There are much better pyschiatrists out there.

Hate a terrible experience with Daniel, having had my referral picked up by him at Belmont without having learned anything about him. Had I known the limits of his capability, competency, and lack of social skills, I would never have asked to be admitted. Strongly recommend trying to find someone else if possible.

It sure if it’s Daniel or the receptionist, but I’m a current patient and I’ve tried booking in a follow up appointment 3 times now with no response. I’ve left 3 messages requesting a call back. I’ve also advised of dramatic life circumstances that have put my mental health in a steep decline… and no help. No reply. Nothing. I don’t feel cared for in the slightest.
