Dr Severin was very good at explaining honestly and compasionately all aspects of the spread and prognois of the cancer. She set up radiation treatments as well as sugesting clinical trials that may give us some help.I would recomend her as an excellemt radiation oncologist.

Loved her. She is very gentle and explains everything very well. She does not sugar coat facts into obscurity. She is informative yet kind in her approach. Wish all docs had her diplomacy savy. She was extremely helpful and put me at ease in a tough situation. Very user friendly.

I had Dr. Severin as my Onocologist five years ago and she was tremendous.Very compassionate,understanding and explained everything very professionally. One of the best - highly recommended.

Dr. Severin had to relate very bad news to my husband and I at the Cross, and she was very kind, but realistic. I appreciated her candor and counted her as one of the very good doctors he saw before he passed.

Dr Severin is a one in a million, kind, knowledgeable and fantastic doctor. I wish there were more doctor’s like her out there. If I could give her a ten out of five for everything, I would!

Wow what a doctor/person. Did 33 radiation treatments at the Cross. The staff were awesome friendly, helpful, efficient and patient orientated. Saw the Dr. every week and the result I felt better after every meeting. Knowledgeable ,strait talk and compassion for me as a cancer patient. Found out she teaches doctors on “bedside manner” and boy I hope they learn it. Five plus stars!

Dr. Diane Severin is gentle and compassionate. She goes far out of her way to make her cancer patient’s life more bearable. She will involve others when further expertise is needed. Dr. Severin is a gem and Albertans are very fortunate to have her as an oncologist in this province.
