Dr. Fulton does not have very good interpersonal skills. In my experience she talks down to her patients. Dr. Fulton talks in a monotone voice which is very hard to take when your getting news that you have cancer. In my experience she has not been compassionate at all. She does answer e-mails however it took her 3 days to do so. She is totally opposed to any type of alternative medicines. Her answer to one of our questions was "No" with no explanation at all. Please if your going to say No at least explain to your patient the reason why. I believe that if you (Dr. Fulton) can not have any compassion then you should change direction in your choice of profession. Cancer patients and family members would appreciate a little compassion. I realize she deals with this everyday, but she chose it. I didn't get to chose my Dr. or the fact that I have cancer.

The receptionist has a heavy accent and is difficult to understand. We waited over an hour past our scheduled time. Dr. Fulton is pleasant enough but it just seems to be a job to her. We didn’t feel much empathy and she didn’t give us much in the way of hope. We didn’t feel comfortable broaching the topic of alternative therapies.

My husband was treated by Dr Fulton, We knew that his condition was terminal. Dr Fulton prescribed Decrodan to my husband. it is recommended that blood sugar is tested weekly when taking this drug, Dr Fulton ommitted to order this test, my husbands blood sugar went to 21 before it was tested, it was a home care nurse that asked was his blood sugars being tested and she went back to her office and brought a testing kit to the home. My husband was taken to hospital and they could not get his blood sugars down, he passed away 21 days later. When I asked the Cross Cancer why the test had not been ordered, the letter they sent back to me stated ” we may never have a true answer to that question” I was asked if I wanted to meet with Dr Fulton, I declined because I really felt that a mistake has been made and though I knew how serious my husbands condition was I do not think he/we deserved the added trauma he went through.

Dr. Fulton, 13 years ago, my sister, Katherine, had no lease on life. Diagnosed with a rare brain stem tumor and pregnant with her first child, she was referred to you through Dr. Steinke. You and he…saved her. Throughout the 13 years, we had many ups and downs. You both gave us 13 years with her. In which time, she had two beautiful children. NONE of it would have been possible without your brilliance, determination and spirit. When her final days were upon her, she thanked you for every second you gave her. Molly was always a joy to deal with, and her friendly face was a warm welcome when we expected not so great news. You have a thankless job, and I commend you for doing what it is you do everyday. People seem to love you when you can treat them, and blame you when you can’t. You are an amazing woman with an unbearably difficult task. THANK YOU, for 13 years with my sister, when she had two weeks to live initially…Tara Cesario.
