A Doctor That nails the diagnosis first time every time even before getting test results . Yes .. he does appear to be abrasive sometimes , but then , wouldn’t you ? , working under that pressure ? I have been to Hades and back with him and I am still here . BEST Dr. EVER !!

I had Dr Snyman for years as a family doctor. I found him very thorough and honest. He told me what I needed to hear ( exercise and diet) instead of just writing a prescription. I liked he wasn’t afraid to send me for tests. However the problem was when I was diagnosed with hyperparathyroidism and I had to insist on a referral to an endocrinologist. It took 2 years for him to get me a gastroscope and colonoscopy. Not sure why and then I had to see Dr Otto and I got it done in 2 weeks. Also found I was having to remind him of who I was and what we’ve been dealing with for the past 4 years. I was seeing him sometimes 2-3 times a moth and each time I had to remind him of my health issues and past treatments. I final got frustrated and found I another family doctor that I’ve only seen 3 times and remembers me and what is going on. My new Dr also found a few issues that tests have been showing in the past coupl years that I was unaware of and received no treatment for in the past. Dr Snyman is good for initial assessment and occasional/minor issues but fails to deal with ongoing issues.

I love Dr. Snyman! He has been my doctor for many years and even though I now live in Edmonton I still have him as my family doctor and don’t mind one bit the travel to see him. He is thorough and listens-I feel as though he genuinely cares. He usually runs quite far behind, but I like to think that if he is being as thorough and caring with his other patients as he is with me, I don’t mind one bit. Highly recommended! All of my family in Camrose sees him too.
