I've had Leoni for multiple stomach surgeries and scopes. He's always very professional and I always gives me great referrals if needed! He works with my mother and has a great bedside manner and she says he always asks about me. Love Dr. Leoni!

A very bad experience for me!!!!! He did my emergency c-section with my eldest son. I had 3 bags of blood, 2 of saline & 2 of plasma after the surgery, and I was on a morphine drip for 4 days! ALARMING in itself, since the average person only has 4-5 litres of blood in their body. What I found even more alarming was that my ex-husband was told by the assisting doctor that I had over 200 stitches, all except 3 were on the inside!!, but when I inquired about the surgery from my medical file I was told that I had a “perfectly routine c-section”!!!! That doesn’t sound to me like a “perfectly routine c-section”!!!! My second c-section most certainly wasn’t even remotely similar!!!

I just had a breast reduction done by Dr.Leoni, and I am very happy with it. I was a little worried about seeing him after reading some of the comments. He did seem rushed when I went for the consult, and follow up appts, but he answered all my questions, explained the risks, and had a great sense of humor. He had a good bed side manner at the hospital as well. I would have no problem going back to him again if I need any more surgery.

Thank you to Dr Leoni for the the care he showed my mother while she was in the hospital. My mother would tell me how much time/compassion you showed her, she said she could see it in your eyes (that you cared). The family would like to thank you getting her in to see the specialist so fast. Most of all I’d like to thank you for listening to mom, she has been going to doctors for the past 4 yrs telling them something was wrong and no one listened. Now she has gallbladder cancer and has spread to the liver. Thank you for listending to mom and treating her with kindness.

Has a tendancy to blame problems on the patients weight, and to not give painkillers until after procedures (Not surgeries of course; Procedures like keeping wounds open to drain)

I was 19 years old, had a breast reduction and panniculectomy(not as good as a tummy tuck!) I was never seen or contacted by Leoni again. He tore my mom into pieces, trying to avoid responsibility. College of Physicians is investigating him. 9 months after my pann. my lower abdomen was tender and swollen, I gently pressed and OMG! pus began to pour out, I had to use a cup, and it filled! I was on massive antibiotics,my docs say it was likely from poor hygiene after surgery or a material left behind. I have to get an ultrasound/blood tests regularly for next year at least. Leoni was sent info. regarding this, he never contacted the doctor or me. Leoni is a ****, if he makes a mistake, Canada is very difficult to sue any doctor. This guy needs to be sued, acccountable is some way.I have no belly button, just a lump, scarring is major, even though I seldom scar, no breast sensitivity, blobby nipples. Leoni sucks. J
