if you do not like Dr. Warshawski it's because you don't like to hear the truth. He is an excellent doctor.

Dr. Frank Warshawski consulted about my father. His professional conduct displayed many years of experience. He is a smart man and considerate to the patient. A few areas demonstrated some belittling - why does he ask what we know? (as the patient's family) That is his role to support and explain things. That is also poor leadership with the resident observing and learning. My husband asked me if we were on Jeopardy. Please don't forget how we're feeling already with a very sick family member. More gentle bedside manner would be appreciated. The patient can also hear all that is being said. It affects his emotions as well. Goals of care is a collaborative medical term. It is "level of care", what the patient wants as his/her wish.
