Dr. Brien is a one of a kind compassionate, intelligent, and engages you in conversations regarding your health. It's very rare to find a doctor that really cares and spends the time you need to get well. He doesn't act arrogant or demeaning so I feel very comfortable talking about my health.

No respect for patients time, had appointment for 9am and he had not shown by 10. Not good at detail does not read files, gets involved in political discussions while patients wait an wait….

He heard what I had to say, but he never listened to what I had to say. The tests he wanted me to take Humana said were excessive/unnecessary and wouldn’t pay. Most of his staff were very very very unprofessional.

In the beginning of March of 2013, my dad came to see Dr. Brien because his sugar was very high, and he had no appetite. He did nothing to regulate my dad’s sugar, and let my his sugar go out of control. He tested my dad for prostate cancer, and his kidney function in December of 2012. High risk for prostate cancer in a PSA test is 10.0, my dad’s PSA level was 16.6. He ignored his high levels of PSA back in December of 2012, and checked his PSA levels again in March 2013, and his PSA levels increased from 16.6 to 60.6 within the three months he ignored the PSA levels, and allowed my dad to develop Advanced Stage 4 Prostate Cancer. By the time Dr. Brien’s office finally ordered a biopsy and bone scan, he had cancer throughout his whole body. For over two years, his blood work showed loss of kidney function, and he did not bother to refer my dad to a kidney specialist until being forced due to not being cleared for a CATSCAN. By this time he only had 40% kidney function left.
