My experience with Dr. Yiu at Archer Dental Little Italy was by far the best I've ever had with a dentist. Dr. Yiu is patient, empathetic and highly competent. He listens to and address your concerns, and explains to you his diagnosis/treatments in a very analytic and methodical manner so you understand everything. His temperament is also very conducive to avoiding panic or nervousness during procedures--he's very calm and comforting. His staff is also highly competent and give great customer service. Would highly recommend, especially to those who are nervous about going to the dentist.

Very high level of knowledge/intelligence and technical/practical skill. I had a very noticeable 20+ year old bridge that had un-natural tooth shape(s), sizing and colouring. I was prepared to pursue an implant, ortho and veneers to get my smile back. After several consultations and temporary bridge evaluations we landed on the most conservative(min$) approach that I am very pleased with...and I’m known as the ultimate fuss/ass...engineer. Sister recently said - “ forgot how perfect your teeth are”.....forgetting that had my whole upper front knocked out by a puck years ago!

I had the privilege to work for Dr. Yiu some time ago. He is indeed an exceptional Dentist. Educating and informing his patients, he takes great pride in delivering quality dental health care without compromise. His patients are a priority and Dr. Yiu demonstrates that with his kind and compassionate approach. No one is a number, everyone has a story and he recognizes the importance of human connection and rapport. Folks gravitate to him naturally because he is so genuine and down to earth. As a philanthropist with pleasure, he generously gives back to his community. His high standards shine through the wealth of knowledge he acquires by continuing his education ensuring he is up to date with modern medicine, advancements in treatment and technology which in turn his patients benefit from greatly. Empowering his team he leads by example, educates his staff and without compromise, provides all tools necessary to elevate patient quality care and experience. If his hygienist recommends treatment to you rest assured it is in your best interest, follow their recommendation. You will be glad you did. Humbly he recognizes his limits and refers his patients to various specialists if it is necessary....trust his recommendations! If you are a patient of Dr. Yiu, know that your dental health is in excellent and uncompromising care....if you aren't his patient, do yourself a favour, take the time to at least meet him.
