In addition to family medicine, she will also deliver your baby! She was a nurse while her own kids were t home; then she went for hr MD after the kids were grown. She is genuine and a pure delight!

I was with Dr. Wiens up until about 3 years ago; it was too hard for us to get to her office after she moved to DeWinton. She delivered my daughter 10 years ago but couldn’t keep me as a patient at that time, but when my regular doctor retired she took me back and we stayed with her until after my son was born, when she moved. I loved her dearly, though, and really miss going to her. Very knowledgeable and caring. People are very lucky to have her for a doctor. I too think, though, that her new office devotes too much time to the botox thing.

I found it difficult to communicate with Dr. Wiens. When I was asking about interventions that might be involved during delivery, instead of addressing my concerns Dr. Wiens told me “to have an open mind and to not read dr. Google” (I’m not sure if it is because of lack of knowledge or Dr. Wiens believes that patients are not capable of understanding the information). As it turns out, during the delivery I encountered almost all of the interventions I was trying to ask about, and at that time I was in active labour more than 24 hrs, exhausted, medicated and my baby’s heart rate was fluctuating. It definitely wasn’t the best time for a discussion of risks and benefits. I was glad I did some research on my own and was able to make informed decision.

I couldn’t have asked for a better doctor to assist in the delivery of my third baby. With my previous complications and history, I am SO relieved I had such a wonderful and compassionate doctor to help welcome my third and final baby. Forever grateful for Dr. Wiens. 💜💜💜

I had the pleasure to have our first born son delivered by Dr. Wiens and cannot speak highly enough about her. She was absolutely phenomenal and compassionate when baby needed to go to the NICU. When we did post natal follow up she was so kind hearted and caring about baby making sure he and I both were doing okay. I cannot say enough about how amazing she is and the amazing experience she created for my husband and I.
