Very caring and great bedside manner. Very happy to have had Dr Daniel perform my hysterectomy in January.

Dr. Daniel might possible be the BEST doctor I have EVER seen. That's including general practitioners. He is compassionate, kind, and very very knowledgeable. He is the ONLY OB/GYN that I would use in all of Calhoun County.

Dr. Daniel, while he was very informed, if he did not want you to know something, or he thought what you were asking was not important, then he would not answer your question. I could not tell you how many times I heard, "You don't need to worry about that." I went to him by way of recommendation for a second opinion in regards to my ovarian cancer. My interactions with him were limited, and I thought that since I was under quite a scare (ovarian cancer at 17 was terrifying), I decided to go back to him for the birth of my daughter. Obviously with my history, I was worried with everything in regards to this pregnancy. I asked him about everything, from increased indigestion, catheters, weight increase, my hardened stomach through the 2nd & 3rd trimester, & everything in between. If he thought the question was not important, he would simply not answer. I have found a new doctor who will answer all my questions, she is wonderful. I don't dislike him, but I will never use him again.

I ADORE Dr. Daniel. However, the front office staff is soo rude, the lab staff is ok at times, & I don't like Dr. Richards. When I went into labor Dr. R was on call and didn't follow Dr. D's birth plan for me? When Dr. D got there everything went fine! Im now pregnant with baby 2 & have had awful headaches & all surrounding stores(5 including drug stores) are out of regular tylenol(even store brands) I called during office hours & the front office lady wouldnt let me talk to a nurse. I called back after hours & the lady (not sure if it was an answering service or not)told me that Dr. Johanson(never heard of him before)said to go to a different store tylenol only. When I tried to explain that a nurse & 2 pharmacist told me i could take 1 extra strength and be fine, she became defensive and rude and told me that she told me exactly what the dr said and hung up on me! Im second guessing whether I should stay. Love the dr but not comfortable with no help during the night. Is it worth it??

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Daniel. He was funny, polite, and caring. His ultrasound tech. was anything but, though. She was extremely rude. Ultrasounds are supposed to be exciting and enjoyable, but she absolutely ruined it for me. If Dr. D wasn’t so great, I prob. wouldn’t go back. His outstanding personality made up for her horrible one. The lab, nurses, and desk staff eere all polite. Other than the u/s tech, my only complaint is that the air wasn’t working, so it was very hot in the office.

Dr. Daniel is the Best Doctor!! I just left his office getting my IUD inserted. He delivered my second son. From day one I felt special and enjoyed every visit. The staff is very friendly. Yes, the wait can be long but it just let me know he must be a great doctor.( so many people trust him.) Its worth the wait. My husband loves Dr Daniel. If I ever have another baby he will definitely be my Dr. Even if I’m out of state.I already live over an hour away but its worth every mile. I love Dr Daniel.

Definitely the worst doctor’s visit I’ve ever had. I would never step foot back in this place, even if Dr. Daniels was the last OBGYN on the planet. He does not ask you questions about what you are feeling or what’s going on with you. The nurse kindof explained what was going on, he checked me and told me I literally had Herpes, since it was floating around in Anniston. I don’t even live in Anniston, I live in Atlanta and I haven’t had sex in three years-when I told him that-he ignored it. He kept over speaking me and saying I knew nothing and he knows all since “he is a scientist and doctor.” I asked one simple question and he got angry. I had to ask the nurse in the room if I was being impolite, and she said “no definitely not.” Dr. Daniels is very unprofessional, very unfriendly, and very unhelpful. I cried after my visit because during a time of stress with your body, you don’t want your physician being rude to you. If I could give Dr. Daniels zero stars, I would. Overall, it was an extremely terrible and strange experience. The nurses comforted me when they noticed me crying afterward, so at least there’s that.

Do not recommend. I’ve used him for previous pregnancies, but things seem to have gone downhill lately. Plan to be there for at least 4+ hours per visit while sitting in a hot waiting room. I have cerebral AVM which causes migraines, but the medication he gave me caused my blood pressure to keep dropping lower than 80/50 and I could never get in touch with anyone about what to do. I informed him I quit taking it because I was concerned it wasn’t safe for my blood pressure to be that low and asked if there were any alternatives. He told me that he gets headaches all the time, but doesn’t take anything and I wouldn’t see him crying about it so maybe I should try that since I couldn’t handle one small side effect of the medication he gave me. Then I asked him about heartburn since I was advised before not to take tums because I have a history of kidney stones that have caused me to have to have stints in previous pregnancies, he advised me to take 10+ tums a day which contradicts what he said last visit. And to top it all off, I missed one visit due to having sick kids and no one to watch them for the amount of time an appointment takes and he told me that he should contact CPS for neglect which would mean they would take my child and demanded they drug test me because, in his words, “only people on drugs miss appointments”.
