Dr. Waechter took exquisite care of my husband who required urgent bypass surgery for ACS NSTEMI . Surgery was long. Post-surgical care in CV|ICU at Foothills was nothing short of top-notch. Dr. Waechter managed every critical tweak until my hubby could safely move off CVICU. If you need skill, he's your guy. Intense but amazing. I thank him quietly every day.

Dr. W has been taking care of my Dad in the ICU for the last few days and has been beyond helpful in explaining the situation in a knowledgeable and compassionate manner to my mom and I. Dr. W took the time to sit down with us AFTER his shift was over to provide us an update. My Dad has been on life support for 10 days now and Dr. Waechter is certainly one of our most favourite physicians. We are very thankful for him.

Took care of my sister is the ICU, he wasn’t super helpful or empathetic to our situation. He didn’t seem to get along well with the other staff around him either.
