This man is the best. He's been my best doctor I have ever had. That's between the 25 or so doctors I have been to in my life. He's blunt but very caring

Dr. Warkentin was amazing with us, i am unsure of what is going on with my son, he has been the one who is following through in doing tests, referrals etc. He has been so kind and compassionate.

Great doctor, he did every little thing possible to help my daughter when she was admitted and found things we would have never known about had he not ordered tests. Thanks so much, hopefully she is on the road to recovery or will live okay with what she has.

Great doctor. We grew very close over the 2 years he treated me and it was very sad when I was discharged from his care not too long ago. He was the first doctor to take me seriously and the first one that was determined to figure out what was going on, couldn't thank him enough. Was visiting him twice a week for a year and a half so it was a very sad time to say goodbye. Sucks turning 18.

One of the worst doctors I’ve had to see. I’m now suffering because he couldn’t be bothered to listen or do his job. Been seeing him since I was 14 years old and thank god I no longer have to see him. Almost didn’t believe anything I was explaining to him and symptoms I was having. Only thing I appreciate him doing was making referrals to specialists out of town. In town he was my main doctor. Was also occasionally still seeing my family doctor for checkups. My iron has been quite low for years and he told me no it’s normal and I’m fine and so I went on iron pills. Well he told me I had an absorption issue and that I probably won’t absorb the iron pills at all. So we asked what to do next or about iron infusions. Wouldn’t set them up. Then after taking the pills for quite a few months my stomach was in so much pain all the time so my family doctor said to come off them. He unfortunately couldn’t set up iron infusions for me but reached out to warkentin to have him set them up. He didn’t. Now they’re looking into malabsorption issues, possible crohns or colitis etc cause I have really bad anemia and now I have to get iron transfusions because a doctor told me it would take over a year to get my iron up to a decent number. It was in the single digits which was apparently not good at all. Also walked in one day when I was 16 and lost his mind on me and my mom saying that they will never find out what’s wrong with me and that they’ll never have a cure for me and that I’ll just need to live with everything going on. Exactly what a 16 Yr old and her mom wanted to hear. I was devastated thinking nobody would find out what was wrong with me. I got pretty depressed too. I’m still quite unwell but I have a team of doctors pushing and advocating for me and trying to help me the best they can while trying to manage my symptoms better. Not a great guy. Needs to work on his bedside manner and should probably think before he speaks. Heard some awful awful stories about this man from other patients. No regard for his patients. Jodi the receptionist was always amazing to my family. I only enjoyed going to see her. She would also be able to get me in quickly if I needed to see him and would demand out of city referrals. She is absolutely wonderful and I went and saw her when I graduated high school. What an amazing women. She will advocate for you. She cares about the patients.

Was my pediatrician my whole life until I aged out. He always went above and beyond to make sure I was happy, healthy and getting the care I needed. I was very lucky to be his patient. Only complaint is staff did break confidentiality when I requested my medical records for a police case, they called my mom and told her about the request for info from the police though I was a legal adult and did not consent for that information to be shared with her.
