Dr. Todd is the best. My whole family comes to her (5+ years) and we are so appreciative to her. I read some of the comments below and was really surprised (and I think they should be taken in context or deleted). The front office staff (Cathy) is amazing. Always friendly and asks about the kids. Keep in mind this is a very busy practice and the phone is always ringing, but she always to get to everybody. I leave a message or email and she calls me back within 24 hours. Our OHIP system is bogged down folks, so if I don't hear back on a referral, I simply follow up. Sometimes they have to send it 2 or 3 times. I've personally witnessed several seniors just dropping by to chat and this take up time and this can slow things down. That's not her fault. Cathy is patient but firm as there are others waiting. Dr. Todd is one of the most caring doctors I know. She cares for each of her patients and will spend extra time with them if she needs to. That can push the punctuality off, but yet, don't you want a doctor that spends the extra few mintues to hear you out? I had a condition that was difficult for even the best experts to diagonse. Dr. Todd without hesitation referred me to the best specialists out there. She didn't tire from trying to help me. She asked to take pictures and circulate to some of the specialists. That indicates to be going above what needs to be done. She's also great with the kids and doesn't push things on you (hint). I find some of these comments below are downright ridiculous, like "in it for the money". How stupid, do you know how expensive it is to run a private practice in Toronto, moron? Being a Specialist, NOT a GP, is where the $$ are. Yes, the doctor takes a week here or there, but who doesn't?! The Specialists are always on some European "conference". I would igore the negativity. If you think a medicentre is going to help you ... good luck ... one time when Dr. Todd was away my daughter went to the local medicentre and they told her she had an extra rib, seriously a joke! Again, I would recommend this doctor, she is like extended family, in a good way. And we appreciate her very much!!!

It’s too bad that the doctor cares more about how much of $$$$ to can make and not about more the patient.

Dr. Todd was there when I needed her! and I am so glad. She is now my husbands dr. too. It was very hard to replace our previous family dr. – but finely we have someone we trust, respect and know is on top of all the latest medicine. She is non-judgemental and even makes my service dog feel welcome 😉 She listens to everything you say, and how you say it… and in turn will provide you with insight and kind support. I felt like I would never find someone to take over for my now retired doctor of 17 years… but I did and I’m so glad she is part of our health care. Great receptionist too – who is so sweet – also made my service dog feel like she was part of everything and very welcome (this is not always case I’ve found). I love that they can back up their dialog with a private email to you if you need it.

excellent and caring Dr. Very sympathetic and patient. Listens to your concerns and acts on them in very professional and timely manner. Usually the waiting time is no more than 10 minutes. If she is running late the secretary lets you know upon arriving the approximate time you turn will be. I find this very fair as once I needed more time than the time slot allowed for. Dr. TOdd always asks if there is anything else making you feel at ease to discuss all concerns. I have recommended her to family and friends who love her as much as I do.
