I paid alot of money to take my kids to this women. It was very costly and I found that after I had spent the money, I was no longer treated well. I had an issue with a missed appointment and because I take both my children there and had spent a substantial amount of money I though 60$ was overkill. Plus the receptionist insisted that she gave me a reminder, she did not. Especially since the appointment was for a cleaning and the children would be seen by the hygienist. I was willing to pay half but was told that if I didn’t pay I would no longer be allowed to make appointments. I went in and paid the bill but was treated terrible. The hygienist proceeded to make snide remarks in front of Dr. Martin and nothing was said. VERY unprofessional. The care given to my children was satisfactory but very expensive and I did find her to be impatient with the kids. But in the long run I felt that once she soaked her money out of me, I was no longer an important client.

I have a young son with ASD and she was so wonderful to him. Her and the staff were very patient with him even when he was very upset. He needed extensive work done so he required the work be done in the hospital. He brought his favourite stuffed animal and they even gave it little booties and a hospital mask. Overall I am very pleased with the service we received.

All the office staff is great but Dr Martin is horrible. She traumatized me as a child and now I have an intense fear of dentists in general. My grandmother actually hit her during one of my appointments. She made my mom pay for all kinds of work but in the end it made my teeth even worse. I now have a “million dollar mouth” yet my teeth break on a regular basis.

I took my 3 year old to see Dr. Martin on a referral. My daughter was very frightened, but cooperated very well (despite Dr. Martin’s lack of bedside manner) until it came time for the last x-ray. The piece that had to go in her mouth was clearly bothering her, and in a panic, my daughter tried to pull it out. Instead of calming her down and explaining what she was trying to do, Dr Martin FORCEFULLY held my daughter in a HEADLOCK, squeezing her, holding her down, and shoving the piece in her mouth. My daughter screamed in terror, flailing to try to get away, not knowing what was going on. It all happened so fast and I was in complete shock. I was shaking in anger, and felt so guilty for not being able to protect my daughter. All the work I had done to help my daughter trust dentists/doctors was erased. I consider that treatment abusive, and nobody should be treated that way, especially a defenseless child. My advice if your child needs dental work: FIND ANOTHER DENTIST.

Due to the subpar work she did on my sons teeth when he was little, he is now a teen who is embarrassed of his teeth. Sealants were applied and are lumpy, teeth that should’ve been pulled were left in and his adult teeth grew in behind the baby teeth. Tonight he told me he’d rather have them all pulled and have dentures at 15. I wish I could sue her.

I had my four back teeth capped as a child because my back four teeth grew in without any enamel. Dr. Martin used a little bit of laughing gas on me but I felt everything. I can still remember the trauma I went through, the sound of the drill as it drove into my roots and nerves. I have a friend who said she put her daughter in a straight jacket because “she was being a baby”. This lady has something wrong with her. She takes pleasure in torturing kids. STAY AWAY FROM HER! She also mixed up two procedures and performed the opposite procedure on two patients. She was put on probation for only six months.

My son had a terrible experience at another dentist who had passed a syringe over his face so we had to seek out a dentist who specializes with children and sedation. Dr martin charged an arm and a leg (over a grand) to cap teeth she shouldve pulled. Since she left the teeth in place, they blocked his adult teeth and now he will for sure need braces to fix his smile.

She is very mean and the only thing she wants is money. Children are scared of her. The new children dentist is much better and looks like an angel. My son loves her.

This dentist seems to charge for things that are not needed. Root canal after root canal for baby teeth for little kids. You show up at least 20 minutes early just to have to sit there for another 30 minutes after your scheduled appointment. Having a child that does not deal well with being overwhelmed and full out panics, this is NOT the place to take them. My child used to love the dentist but I think after visiting Dr. Martin, my child now fears the dentist. Such a waste of money and a shame that she prides herself of ripping people off by doing unnecessary procedures. Good thing I brought my pre-treatment estimate to my dentist to have it explained what was going to happen for dental surgery and they suggest to get a second opinion due to what Dr. Martin was planning on doing. Please bring in your pre-estimates and go over them with your dentist before you decide to continue seeking dental care with her for your child.
