They way this office schedules appointments is unprofessional. After my family dr's referral I've had to call time and time again for an appointment. They forgot. After uretheroscopy , again she didn't call me for follow up appt. to remove stents , although she should have according to my discharge papers. When I reached out, they gave me an appt. 4 weeks after because there's no availability. Unbelievable!

I had a telephone “appointment” with Dr Kalor if you can call it that. I truly think he was actually eating lunch while speaking with me. He was rude, impatient and extremely unkind. I hung up the phone perplexed and crying. Technically he may be a wizard in the OR but as for human communication he gets minus zero. I am ticked that AHS is actually paying him for this “consult”.

Great surgeon! He took out my kidney stone through my back. Went home immediately and had no problems. My last surgery for this was 8 years ago in Toronto and I was in hospital for 5 days. Very happy with how I did and was treated. Highly recommend.

Dr. Kaler did my kidney cancer surgery with a robot. Since we first met him he has been nothing but great. He explained the surgery in detail and scared me with everything that could go wrong. I had no problems and went home the day after my surgery. When I saw him in clinic he said all the margins were negative and no cancer was left behind. I will be seeing him for a few years to make sure everything remains well. So grateful he was my surgeon.

He left a stem into my penis and he expected me to remove it. Went on post surgery appointment for review, he spent 3 minutes with me saying my stone was like 80% of calgarians and handed me tips sheet. Not helpful, I don’t recommend.

He did my kidney stone removal and it went perfect. Dr. Barr said he he would do a great job and he did.
