Has been family doctor for years, geat doctor always remembers your name when sitting in the waiting room will say hello if he sees you, very personable, caring, never feel rushed to get out of his office, truely takes his time to give a correct diagnosis.

Dr. Young is amazing! I always feel completely at ease with him. He has a very generous & caring spirit. He personally calls even after routine tests. He never hesitates to sends you to a specialist if you're showing symptoms of something outside his realm of General Medicine. In the 22 years I have been a patient of his I have been very seriously ill only once, he took very good care of me. When my surgery wasn't taking place in a timely manner, he was on the phone in a matter of minutes...I was on the table 3 days later. The first time I saw him after my surgery he was genuinely happy to see that I was recovering nicely.If he is running behind schedule his staff always communicates this and as his patient you know that if he is running late it is because someone has needed a bit more attention. Sometimes, that someone is me. I certainly hope he doesn't decide to retire anytime soon.

Dr. Young has been my family's physician for 16 years. He is an extraordinarily caring doctor, who is open-minded, generous of spirit, and willing to admit if he is wrong.

Dr. Young has been my family doctor for 25 years. I have only positive things to say about him. He doesn't overprescribe. He has time to listen. He is very personable and shows genuine concern for his patients. Always phones personally with lab results. Great doctor.

I can't say enough about this man. He's phenominal - perhaps one of the last of a dying breed. He always has time to talk, takes an obvious and personal interest - and I'm praying that he doesn't decide to retire any time soon!!

He has a pleasant attitude to all his patients. Willing to answer ALL the patients questions fully. Follows up with a phone call promptly after tests are run.Just a real likeable guy.

He always takes time to phone you at home or work. If things needed some clarification about the result/s of your examination ;he explains it to you the way that you will understand it. I have known Dr. Kelly Young for more than 25 years and my opinion about him is as clear and sparkly as 1000 karat diamond. He’s clear, precise NO BS and direct to the point.

We have had Dr. Young as our family doctor for 24 years. I will miss him greatly now that I live in B.C. He delivered all 3 of our children and was very caring to me through childbirth, our children’s illness over the years. He takes the time to listen to his patients, and is quick to refer to a specialist or look things up if unsure of something. Very thorough, caring, and kind. I can’t say enough. In fact, I am planning to write him a letter to let him know as I just found a new family physician accepting patients in B.C.

I’m very lucky to have Dr. Young as my family doctor. He has looked after me for 22 years and is wonderful. He’s caring, considerate, takes time to listen and is a straight-shooter. The only downside to his office is his front desk staff. They’re unfriendly and make you feel like it’s an imposition to see him. I think Dr. Young is amazing and deserves much better staff at reception.
