Dr. Sargeant should NOT be a psychiatrist. He is abrupt, arrogant and ignorant. Was totally unhelpful when I saw him at The Rockyview. He treated me like dirt when I was at the lowest point of my life!! No redeeming qualities whatsoever.

Dr. Saargeant is a great psychiatrist, although first impressions can be uncomfortable. He tends to be abrupt sometimes, but I have seen him as an inpatient a few times and he has been very helpful. He won’t push medication and really takes the time to get to know you.

Didn’t bother to see me 4 out 10 weekdays I was on the unit. Told me it was not his job to help me feel better. Discharged me with no hope of ever getting better and despite my being very hopeless and highly suicidal (only still alive because being constantly watched by family}.

What a joke of a doctor. When talking to him he is busing doing other things and only half listening. What a way to make you feel. You can tell he is not interested in what you are saying. So disrespectful.

Do these psychiatrists have any idea how toxic and harmful their anti-depressants are when taken at the therapeutic dosage? Positive results from taking these mind and body (e.g. tardive dyskinesia) altering drugs only happens because of the placebo effect in my opinion. For example, the initial dosage is so low that the person thinks the drug has helped them (placebo effect); and the low dosage is not toxic enough to harm them.

Needs to retire before he inflicts any more pain on patients with his pill popping antics. He needs to be reported to the AMA. Stay away from him.
