Dr. Zalmanowitz was my Emergency doctor and he was so kind and caring about my situation. He took his time in stitching up my lip, even redoing some because I guess he wasn't satisfied. He also referred me to the plastic surgeon at the hospital for a follow-up, to which his office had went ahead and scheduled me in for an appointment. I have two very small scars but it could've been worse (the plastic surgeon had even said Dr. Z did a great job) and I'm grateful that he spent the time to make sure that my lip would still look like a lip.

This emergency Doctor was awful. I saw him for a recurring and unesplainable breast infection. He wanted to hear limited information regarding my symtoms and he cut me short when I wanted to expand on the recurrence. He seemed not to have time to explain anything to me. Because of this lack of information, I was not confident that Dr. Zalmanowitz had the proper information and couldn’t possibly help me with my medical concerns. An acquaintance, of his, was placed in the emergency bed across from me and Dr. Zalmanowitz proceeded to have a lengthy conversation with her and had plenty of time to chat while I waited for Urine, blood clutures and radiology orders. He didn’t explain anything to me. This doctor has no bedside manner or empathy. (ecxept for those he knows). I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone I know.

This is a pragmatic empathetic doctor who spent the right amount of time working up my file. It’s got to be tough to have to make decisions on the spot in a busy emergency room but I’d certainly ask for him. He was clear minded and even though it was a busy busy day. His staff clearly liked him too…lots of respect each way.

It is an Emergency department. He has more bedside manner and empathy than you would expect. Maybe an Emergency department isn’t the place to go for recurring infections. I was very happy with his service.

Dr. Zalmanowitz was wonderful when I took my mother in last week. He was patient and made sure we understood before moving on to his next duty. All of his interactions with other patients and staff seemed positive despite the tense nature of the environment. I’d feel comfortable and assured in his care again.

I delt with him today and found him very easy to deal with and a very good bedside manor. Rob
