Dr. Millstein is incredibly knowledgeable and knows her patients' histories and gives sound advice based on them. She is personable and honest, and straight forward with information about prescription drugs, the patient's options for course of treatment and she's gentle, kind, and empathetic to her patients' concerns. I switched from my old doctor to Millstein about 4 years ago and couldn't be happier. It's nice having a young, fresh and incredibly smart and gifted doctor who cares about my medical needs instead of looking at me as a means to their pay cheque. She's wonderful and I would highly recommend her to ANYONE - if she's accepting new patients... not sure if she is.

Less empathetic , cynical, mean, feisty, money oriented, short-tempered. I think it is better for her to resign.

I saw her only once, but she was kind, knowledgeable, and I wasn’t made to feel rushed. Therefore, my first impression is very positive.

I went to Dr. Millstein for over 2 years and I can say that during that time it felt like I had no doctor at all. She is extremely condescending and unable to think outside of the box, both qualities that I do not appreciate when there are so many bright doctors around. I am 21 and found that especially with my age she failed to listen to my concerns and chose to stick with the most generic fixes to problems even when I wanted alternative options. Switched doctors and could not be happier. To be a doctor in this day in age you should be able to connect with your patients and be flexible to different solutions for patients with different needs.

Despite the fact that Lisa is very thorough, the thing that stands out most to me about her is how money hungry she is. You are forced to make multiple appointments if you have more than one issue to discuss (despite requesting extra time, ahead of time). I once called ahead mentioning I had 2 issues to discuss, went in for my appointment and was lectured to the point of tears about how the government pays her per appointment, not per issue, and ultimately that she was losing money on me.
On another occasion, I was called by her directly and lectured over the phone about how my visiting a walk-in clinic instead of visiting her office causes her practice to lose money. She was relentless and did not even try to sugar coat it. Lisa makes it quite clear that money is her #1 priority.
I am sick and tired of being lectured and made to feel bad and that I have done something wrong. No one deserves that from their doctor.
I will be switching doctors. WITH PLEASURE.
