I can't tell if this is the same Michael Davis who was my dermatologist a few years ago. I heard that he died. I liked him a lot.

I had an appt over a year ago to seek advice as to why my hair had stopped growing, not falling out. I waited 4 months for an appt and then waited almost 2 hours past my scheduled appt time. When I finally saw the doctor he spent maybe 5 minutes telling me that there was nothing that could be done and that is common for a women’s hair to stop growing during menopause and that basically whatever my length my hair was at that time, would be the maximum. I left and sat in my car and cried. Several months later I went to a well know hair salon and the stylist took one look at my hair and figured out the problem was breakage, not lack of growth. In the year that I’ve been going to this salon, my hair has grown significantly, it still amazes me. I am writing this review so perhaps some of other women won’t be so easily dismissed. I still can’t believe that a hairdresser could help me and Dr. Davis left me in tears.

Most of the comments here are quite accurate. Great doctor, terrible staff and overall experience. Doctor overbooks so even when you show at 930am you are still forced to wait at least an hour. My first appt was 2.5hrs late. This is deliberate in my view as it is standard for this office. I will not be using this doctor anymore. One essentially has to write off half a day for a 15 min appt.

Dr. Davis is one of a kind. Over the years that I’ve been a patient of his, he’s been nothing but helpful, just an all around great doctor. He really knows his stuff and strives to give you the best care possible. It’s a shame his reception staff are among the worst I’ve ever come into contact with. I’ve personally been berated by one in particular over the phone several times. I myself am in a customer service field and ensure I have an extremely pleasant demeanour no matter who I talk to! The fact that she still holds a position there absolutely astounds me. It pains me to say this because I absolutely love Dr. Davis and am so grateful for all he has done for me, but I can’t subject myself to this horrendous woman any longer.

I hope you read these reviews before you even attempt to make an appointment with this place. The receptionist alone if enough to avoid going here at all costs. I am a grown woman, scolded by another grown woman for trying to schedule an appointment. Apparently if you're an existing patient, they will only schedule you in December. If you're freshly referred, you can count on getting a mid-summer appointment. You're still charging me for a visit, and I continue to come to your office specifically. Why do I have to wait 6 months longer for an appointment? Lady, you are in a customer service field, where the heck did you put your manners?! I've personally witnessed this woman yell at an elderly patient in the office when she asked if the doctor will be seeing her soon. Dr. Davis, unfortunately you will continue to lose patients because of that horrid woman behind your counter. You should also know that she does not pass along our repeated requests to speak with you, request for prescription refills until we're able to secure an appointment, etc. If she deems your phone call inconvenient, she hangs up on you or refuses to help you altogether. Despicable.

I have been a patient of Dr. Davis for many years. While his office is a very busy practice, his staff do try to fit you in as soon as possible depending on urgency and/or cancellations. Dr. Davis spends as much time as you need with him, which may make the wait in his waiting room sometimes a bit longer. Dr. Davis is very patient and explains things very clearly in language you can understand. He is very thorough and detail oriented. His knowledge and expertise are well worth the wait if there is one. I would highly recommend Dr. Davis to any of my family or friends who are looking for someone who is genuinely a very caring, gentle and helpful physician.

Worst Medical Staff and Doctor I have ever seen in my life. No manner. running money making business ONLY. Even after taking an appointment you have to wait for 2 to 3 hours. Doctor Davis has no ethics he has no value of his own words.I don’t suggest anyone to go to this clinic.

After years of searching for the doctor who listens, understands my concerns and does a thorough examination, I finally ended my search when I met Dr. Davis a few months ago. Since then, Dr. Davis’ attentive manner has given me the confidence I have been looking for in a physician. He follows up with certain procedures and provides results as soon as they are available. Dr. Davis’ staff are lovely and they always ensure that I am comfortable. Dr. Davis is one in a million!!

I’ve been seeing Dr. David for 4-5 years now and he’s totally fixed my acne problems and helped with cosmetic laser treatments to fix my skin quality. He’s kind and takes his time with you and doesn’t upsell products or procedures giving honest advice and suggestions. Wait times can be long but it’s because he takes his time with patients and doesn’t cut sessions short to cram in as many people as possible. Wait times are not worse than some other doctors I’ve had in the past but can be lengthy.

Dr. Davis is the most knowledgeable, pleasant, helpful & patient dermatologist we’ve ever seen. It’s been four years now & we’ll never see anyone else. Highly recommend him to anyone. Beware the reception staff though who can be very crusty & are in stark contrast to the receptive & knowledgeable doctors in the office – it’s just the unfortunate but not fatal price you need to pay to see this great doctor.
