I've been seeing her for years and refered several people to her. All are impressed. I broke down one time and she spent 30 -40 min. with me. She did not rush me and was genuinely concerned. Great lady, great doctor

First of all her front desk staff member is obnoxious, very rude. I agree with another reviewer that Dr Meiring is a drug pusher, she prescribed a drug that said would help and my results were worse and her mind it was better. She doesn’t want to do referrals to specialists unless you stand your ground. She is over worked because she’s greedy,, and needs to help her husband pay off his lawsuits, which in turn results in poor patient care. I find her forgetful and makes mistakes which she tries to make it appear to be the patients fault. I wouldn’t recommend her.

The front desk staff is very rude both in person and on the phone. Dr Meiring used to be a great doctor. Now she is just mediocre. She seems anxious and overworked and at times somewhat sad or depressed. She often forgets current medications and past conversations which I don’t like. I think she needs a break and needs to be more compassionate about referring patients to specialists. I find her somewhat knowledgeable but my last doctor was 10 times better.

Been a patient of dr M for about 20 years now and she has helped me through cancer three times. Always finds a way to make the time to ask what is going on in my life. She helped my sister through a very high risk pregnancy with happy results. She cares for my mom who is now much healthier than she has been. She has taken on new patients in need when I have specially asked – husband, sons, their girlfriends, a staff member. One was an airman on leave who was kind enough to accompany me to my appointment in support and he needed help. I asked her and she brought him right in. Does she seem rushed? Yes but it is because that woman goes above and beyond what the hours of the day permit because she cares for her patients.

I don’t feel she spends adequate time with her patients. I don’t think she should be a doctor anymore because she doesn’t seem to care. Also she seems like a nervous wreck. It’s not good vibes going to see her.

I have been going to this clinic for 17 years. I find Dr.Meiring to be very pleasant, punctual, and helpful. The only problem I have with this clinic is the Receptionist. She is very rude, doesn’t listen, and is very unhelpful – she came to the clinic about a year ago, and I am not comfortable with her at all. I am on pain medications, and find that refills are problematic – they only have one morning a week to refill pain meds and it feels like I am being mistrusted with my medication. Every time I go for refills, I have to fill out a survey on my “mental” health – not my actual issue. She says this is due to the Regulations put in place by the government, but I am made to feel like an addict, when in reality I don’t abuse my medications. Without it, my day to day life would be filled with pain.
