Dr. Haugrud performed my rhinoplasty one week ago and I already love the results. He did a closed rhinoplasty, meaning there are no exterior scars and the swelling has been quite good as well. I can breathe a lot better too. It was never an issue getting an appointment, his receptionist Cindi always made sure I could come in if I needed to. The nurses and the anesthesiologist were very kind the whole way through at the surgical centre as well. I went to 4 different surgeons in the Calgary area before I came to Dr Haugrud, but all were unsuccessful and overpriced. Dr Haugrud is truly one of the best and I highly recommend seeing him if you are thinking about it!

Ive heard great things about this doctor. Im sad for all the negative television comments on his problems. In the end there are risks to everything one does.

This guy is not a pro. Beware if you’re going to see him about a hand injury because most of the ratings on here r for plastic surgery. I went to see Dr. Haugrud in early 2010 about a nagging hand injury (sports injury) I’ve had for a few years. He didn’t bother to spend more than 5 min with me. He told me the reason I had pain was becuase I was “getting old”-this being an injury I got in my 20’s & offered no insight as to what the source of pain was. Due to my persistence, I’ve recently confirmed that I’ve had a broken wrist the whole time. For those who don’t know, the set-up he has at the Rockyview is total garbage. You sit in a room with a dozen or so other patients at the same time & everybody gets to listen to everyone else’s problems. I’m sorry Dr. Haugrud, but this is Canada, not India! We actually strive to have decent healthcare here. I don’t know how he gets away with this. I feel he’s more worried about seeing as many patients as he can as opposed to doing the job right.

I am 2 weeks post op from TT and breast augmentation. I am very happy that I followed my instict to have him as my PS. During the surgery, I had a reaction from the anaesthesia which was not his fault! He visit me everyday at Rockyview hospital to make sure I am doing well. I was well looked after by nurses and I healed fast! I am now active doing normal chores at 2 weeks post op! My sister who saw my result from the surgery is now seriously contemplating of having a tt done by him. I highly recommend Dr. Haugrud.

Dr.Haugrud is THE best plastic surgeon ever! I had carpal tunnel surgery in ’98 with him. I had immediate pain relief and the scars are undetectable. He is known in the hospital world for his incredible stitching. I had a tram flap breast recontruction by him 3 weeks ago after cancer took my breast. Dr. Haugrud has been wonderful. He has the best bedside manner and is diligent in explaining everything very thoroughly. He has a great sense of humour and is a very caring doctor. I’m sorry that he has had some bad press but that wasn’t his fault. I knew about this and still went ahead with my surgery. That is how much confidence I have in him! His office girl is very courteous and professional as well.

I had a breast reduction in 2007. I am extremely happy with it. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He put me at ease. I have recommended Dr. Haugrud to anyone that is interested in having it done. I have a friend that had a tummy tuck and a boob job done. She was so happy with it that she referred me to Dr. Haugrud.
