Absolutely appalled at how she speaks to clients while on the phone. My child was set (30 mins from phone call) to have her appt with Dr. Erickson, she called to cancel as he had a emergency to attend to at the hospital(totally understandable) she has a terrible tone, completely rude and zero care at all....this lady should not have a license to practise medicine, she is a disappointment for our great city

I am a patient of Dr M Rockx .Have never had a better Nephrologist We are Blessed to have a Specialist of Dr Rockx calibre in Medicine Hat.

I was referred to Dr. Rockx so that she can become a part of my healthcare team and monitor my kidney function, since I have had Type 2 diabetes since the early 90's. Recent blood tests show that my kidney function is showing some signs of decline after all of these years. I was very impressed with Dr. Rockx in several ways. I had been asked to bring all of my medications with me, including supplements, She examined everything, including the supplements. She mentioned 3 supplements that weren't helpful and explained why. I have since chosen to delete them from my medication regimen. She also commented on my latest blood work. She explained that the tests that show the effects of kidney function were still good results for someone who had been diabetic as long as I have. For now, I will continue the things I've been doing for many years -- watching my weight, drinking adequate water, using moderate exercise, practicing stress relief through meditation and similar activities and taking lab tests throughout the year. For now, I will see Dr. Rockx again in a year. I would definitely recommend her based on her demeanor, medical/pharmaceutical knowledge, ability to listen and answer my questions and make me feel comfortable on a first visit.

Misdiagnosed my father. Ended up in hospital for eight months. Left him severely disabled requiring round the clock for four years. Died due to complications as a direct result of this unskilled physician. Beware of friendly smile, she lacks clinical skill and judgement. Please watch out, I wish someone would have warned us.

This was my first visit with Dr. Rockz. She has a great bedside manner. Very thoughtful and thorough. She listened and took notes throughout the visit and set things in motion immediately. Very good experience, great staff!

Lack of knowledge as a nephrologist, treated my mother with questions as if she were a child. Has no bed side manner, as is full of herself. Has no knowledge of a renal diet and sorry to say, a patient under her care will likely die sooner than later.
