Dr Steyn, has been the best Psychiatrist I have hadd in 20yrs. He is the type of Dr. that gives a**** about everything about you.

My son is dead because of his actions. He put him on an experimental depression pill and did not do the appropriate monitoring of how the drug affected him. In fact, when my son asked to be hospitalized because he was feeling suicidal and feared for his life, the good doctor sent him home. I found him hanging from his doorknob the very next day. Very bad doctor. He should not be allowed to practice any kind of medical profession.

Dr. Steyn saved my life, and tries different medications until he finds one that works. He found me a medication to help me sleep when I wouldn’t sleep unless hit over the head with a frying pan. He is blunt and caring. He took care of me, when I was admitted for two months and I have been an outpt for over a year. He cares about my physical health too.

Dr. Steyn is WAY better than my previous doctor actually spends the time, does background, listens has character and is knowledgable. the son dyeing post made me chuckle a bit probably one of the nurses due to the retarded way 5th north is set up in medicine hat and if not then “Man is condemned to be free; because once thrown into the world, he is responsible for everything he does. It is up to you to give (life) a meaning.” the other two negative reviews self-accountability and most often the family is the problem … not talking/being dysfunctional and what not; along with how crappy people treat each other in this city(rock and a hard place being social life and family life) that’s my opinion anyways

He is the absolute best and has helped me come a long way in my life! My step mom works with Alberta mental health and doesn’t trust any dr other then him, not to mention dr stein does way more for my health then my family dr!!!!!!
