I believe would be better sticking at research than treating patients... is relatively knowledgeable but had no general compassion/ bedside manner at the time I was under his care and was rather belittling/ intimidating/ not very supportive

Was under his care at Wesley also. Found him to be quite belittling and unsupportive. Seems to have goor textbook knowledge, but no compassion or understanding of how things are for his patients. I found him very dismissive and upsetting towards a lot of patients :(

I found Dr Mondraty to be very unhelpful and inconsistent in dealing with his patients at Wesley Eating disorder unit. Hhe was not very compassionate or reliable and did not seem to understand the magnitude of difficulty his patient's were experiencing. Seemed to have reasonable knowledge in some areas but lacking in others. Some of the staff were fantastic, but others were really, really unhelpful

Very good Psychiatrist, highly recommended. Despite being extremely astute and capable in his own right, he was quick to proactively seek out relevant second opinions from his peers to eliminate any possibility of doubt and ensure the best treatment plan was adopted for the benefit of the patient. He also has a certain warmth and level of compassion that is rare to find. Well played sir!

Caring and helpful. Fantastic Doctor. No hesitation in recommending him

Not helpful nor empathetic. Could be judgemental and dismissive.

I saw Dr Mondraty for anorexia and depression. I no longer have anorexia, but after ten years I still have depression. His main treatment plan was medication and hospitalization (which a standard GP can do for a quarter of the price.) Would not recommend him as a psychiatrist.

Dr Mondraty was my psychiatrist throughout my many admissions to Wesley’s EDU and he honestly was a fantastic doctor. Not everyone cup of tea but I found him good to talk too and he did care about his patients. Difficult that he left without telling his patients but besides that he was a good Dr.

Not very helpful or understanding. Could be quite judgemental and rude and make you feel inferior. Good textbook knowledge but lacks empathy and ability to relate this info to patient experience.
