I had the good fortune to have the Gp at the walk in clinic refer me to Dr. Neil MacEachern when on a Saturday with lower body pain I went for an examination. The Gp had gone to University with Dr. MacEachern and knew him personally to be an excellent surgeon . This high opinion was not misplace and I am forever grateful. My double hernia operation was performed flawlessly, my recovery went smoothly and I am very happy to share this experience. for the benefit of others. Dr. MacEachern's services were uniformly excellent as were those of his office staff who accommodated me in every way beyond the call of duty. My lower belly is now as flat as a pancake to my amazement. I smile every time I look at it when I come out of the shower.

So I just moved to Ab in July ’08 and in August spent time at our local ER suffering from abdominal pain. Dr. MacEachern was on call and performed my appendectomy. Tests on my appendix would turn up cancer cells, requiring further surgery, also performed by Dr. MacEachern. He will also be the lucky doctor who gets to perform my follow-up colonoscopy and I wouldn’t want anyone else to do it. He has proven to me time and time again that he cares and wants what is best for me. He is a wonderful doctor, a great surgeon and a fantastic person. I would recommend him to anyone who asked. Thank you for everything Dr. MacEachern

Dr MacEachern did a hiatal hernia repair and a fundoplication to treat my GERD (acid reflux). I am very happy with the results. He took the time to make sure everything was done properly, taking 4 hours to do my surgery to make sure all the damage was properly fixed. I am doing great, I haven’t had reflux since! I would recommend this surgeon to anyone!

This Surgeon is cautious and thorough …he is very caring and compassionate and understanding. You can not go wrong. He works out of both Leduc Hosp and Sturgeon Hosp. Although Surgeons love to do Surgery he is not one to Rush in and operate ….I cant say enough about him.
