It is impossible to reach the receptionist but she will call you back within four hours. Getting an appointment is so much more difficult than when Dr. Linders first started in this practice when my youngest (now 15) was a baby. The last time I called at 11, all appointments for the day were gone and people were told (by message) to take their children to a walk-in clinic. This was not even during flu season! The office seems to be closed for a half a day on Fridays now which is only making the problem of easy access to appointments more difficult. Another doctor needs to be brought into this practice and a larger office needs to be found. I have waited for over an hour in the waiting room past an appointment time for a well-visit and then had my son become ill a few days later from being surrounded by sick children. She is a great doctor but the practice is suffering severely from her popularity. I am finding another pediatrician…

Dr. Linders is the most exceptional Doctor and human being imaginable. Her medical knowledge is astounding and I have yet to see her falter. She is brilliant, unfailingly kind and compassionate. Dr. Linders has saved my life over and over again and any one person who has the privilege to be a patient of Doctor Linders is among the lucky. She is a woman whose exceptional qualities others should aim to embody and she should be celebrated over and over again for her humanity and her loving contributions to the medical world. My love and gratitude for Dr. Linders knows no bounds.

Extremely caring and compassionate doctor. Seems to take a personal interest in the welfare of your child. Goes out of her way to ensure excellent care. Answers all questions without rushing. Extremely calm and knowledgable. Great connections with hospitals and specialists for very fast follow-up appointments. Have experienced some appointment delays and very tiny/awkward waiting room and clinic rooms.

Dr. Linders is fantastic. As a first time mom, I come armed to each appointment with many questions. She takes the time to answer everything calmly and has a very low-stress approach to parenting. Her knowledge and calm approach are exactly what I need and love. And she just happens to be a sweetheart. I feel so fortunate to have my baby girl in her care.

Not sure what has been going on in the office over the last year (not sure if it has something to do with the fact that Vincenza is no longer there) but the care from office staff and Dr. Linders has recently severely declined. This was the topic of conversation in the small waiting room of numerous parents while we were waiting over 1.5 hours to see Dr. Linders. It is next to impossible to get through on the 3267 line – sorry but you are in “the business” of treating sick children of course people will be calling that is why you are “in business” There is a now an email system but even that is not an accurate nor timely way of trying to communicate with the office. Phone calls are not being returned in a timely manner. Once you wait over an hour to get in to see Dr. whether it is for yearly check-ups or certain illness etc she is now very rushed and quick to dismiss questions and brush over concerns! Very sad actually as we used to feel so confident being at this office & with her.

Dr. Linders is an incredible physician and wonderful person. We started seeing her when my daughter was born and she was with us through my husband's cancer diagnosis and death. She went above and beyond to help us through that difficult time. We have since moved away, but we still see her when we return to Toronto for our annual summer visit. And yes, her appointments tend to run behind, particularly if you book one for mid-late afternoon, but this is because she takes the time to make your child feel comfortable before she conducts her exams and probes you to ask any questions and talk about any concerns you may have.

Dr. Linders is an amazing doctor! She always takes the time to put my children at ease. We are lucky enough to see Dr. Inch if scheduling something with her makes more sense. Their staff are really on the ball. It is always possible to be seen quickly with a very sick child-same day or next morning. Because of this (making time for previously unscheduled patients) there is often a wait when you go for your scheduled visit. So what. Take a book with you and turn off your phone for a change. Be grateful that someone else's child that is sick is being seen promptly. You will get your turn and nobody will rush you out till your child has been seen. As much as I don't like being charged for the "extras" if we have already paid for OHIP via taxes-there are plenty of hidden costs to running a medical practice. They offer up anything extra that you might need but need some way to compensate for the time that it might take.

My kids love Dr. Linders. We all feel very at ease with her. She allows us to ask many questions and we never feel rushed. On the flip side the wait times vary - but that is understandable because you know that you will not be rushed. The nurses in the office are great too - amazing with the kids and us parents. The only staff member that is miserable and not helpful is the receptionist. Anytime you speak to her (in person or over the phone) she acts like you are inconveniencing / disturbing her. You think you would be greeted and serviced by a warm face considering its a pediatrician's office. I hope Dr. Linders doesn't retire until my kids reach over 18.....as she is a tough act to follow.
