Worst Experience I have ever had in my entire life. This physician was more interested in my health insurance than is is interested in taking care of me. He also is very rude. His infection rates are high because of he never washes his hands. He was touching me without even wearing gloves. Really disgusting!

I had a bad compound fracture of my right elbow and Dr. Merkle did an excellent job of repairing it and a year later removed all the hardware. I am very happy and have almost full use of my right arm. I am also very happy with his great staff. I would definitely recommend Dr. Merkle. Thank you Dr. Merkle.

Dr Merkle is an outstanding Doctor and a very accomplished Surgeon. After an accident caused a severe spiral fracture of my Fibula, he made it as good as new back in 2001. Despite the need for a titanium plate with six screws I have had no pain or limitations from that surgery. Since then, he has successfully treated me for low back pain over the past 14 years. He is so expert with Spinal Epidural injections that each time I was pain free for years before a recurrence. Most recently, (January of 2018), I was successfully treated for a very painful calcification in my right knee. Just one well-placed planned injection did the trick. The pain and swelling are gone and I am back to playing great golf again at age 72! Thank you so much for all you've done for me Dr. Merkle...you're the very best!

They started out real nice when I called them from the city of Georgia and told him about my accident of fall while traveling. When I arrived to his facility for weeks went by he was very flirtatious he put his hands all over me I even told his management and his staff they refuse to do anything about it, they were nasty his management was just totally unprofessional and they refused to do anything about the sexual-harassment. He needs to be in jail and have his license pulled . I decided not to go with his attorney Kenneth Frankel and from that moment on Peter Merkel was mean he was arrogant he was violent he was touchy with his hands he groped me he grabbed me more than once, and I feel other women that I’ve been in this predicament need to come forward because I’m going to make a video and tell everyone about the sexual harassment that I received at his facility

His staff is unprofessional, he physically attacked my friend that was his patient. He allowed his staff to put there hands on me because I was trying to check on her. They called my friend a liar because the staff failed to properly do their job. They continued to hang up on her, refused to give medical records, and failed to provide proper treatment within the 90 day period that is required. When she requested records they gave her 4 papers that said nothing about her care. Doctor cursed, made sexual comments, and changed his records to benefit himself after we reported to the hospital.

The worst Ortho I’ve ever seen, as a nurse, I’ve seen him do several horrific procedures from closed reductions without anestheic to unsanitary operations where he had contaminated the operative site. Several OR nurses say that his infection rate is the highest. I wouldn’t see him or have him EVER work on me even if he was the only surgeon in a 100 mile radius. We all made bets that one day, we’ll find out he really wasn’t a doctor..

replaced knee very good doctor. Informative. Willing to take time to explain/show exactly what is wrong, and fixed, afterwards. Would recommend him to any family member or friend. Occasionally gets behind (because he takes the time to make sure patient is fully aware of circumstances).

I have known D.r Merkle since Dec of 2001 when my husband started using him- Dr. Merkle helped my husband tremendously and now that I am experiencing some problems , I knew Dr. Merkle would be able to help me also. He knows his stuff and has given me excellent advise in how to limit the pain I sometimes feel. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing his services. You are in excellent hands

I have been seeing Dr. Merkle, for years: 3 surgeries, leg cast, etc. His knowledge and caring is unsurpassed. His staff is excellent: friendly, professional, and kind. I highly recommend Dr. Merkle!
