Referred from edmonton for endoscopy. I felt very comfortable with him. Anesthetist present two Nurses. Very good experience. They told me in edmonton it would be 6-7 months to get this done. Hinton got me in within theee week. I am a retired RN who has worked in scope clinics before felt very comfortable with my procedure.

Waiting for surgery for a year because the good doctor has cancelled surgery dates three times. I am now going to pay for my own surgery in the usa because I am tired of waiting in pain.

Doctor is VERY thorough with patient. Very helpful, take as much time as you need. Very prompt, if you need surgery you are getting it within a few weeks, not a few months. I have had to drive 4 hours one way from Grande Prairie to Hinton to find a descent physician. It was well worth the drive. The procedure was excellent and the staff at the hospital is superb!!! Super friendly and helpful. A change from Grande Prairie. If I ever need anything done ever again, I will make the trip there without hesitation. An excellent docotor. Highly recommended.

Dr. Pulis performed a total thyroidectomy on me due to cancer...he explained the procedure, potential complications, risks and what to expect with a positive cancer diagnoses very well. He was very careful when he made his incision and then with the stitching. The scar is barely visible. He is an excellent Doctor and Surgeon.

I had breast cancer surgery by Dr. Pulis. He as a very caring and thorough individual who explained all of my options to me and performed a flawless surgery. I couldn’t be happier.

His staff cancelled my appointment but didn’t let me know so I drove 4 hours to be told he wasn’t there. I had called to confirm 2 times but nobody got back to me. Dr. Pulis had poor bedside manner. It seemed like he wanted me out of there as soon as possible. He didn’t seem to know much about Ulcerative Colitis and downplayed the severity of if. He in fact told me to eat a high fiber diet which is the opposite thing that should be done when you have ulcerative colitis. A good note is that he did get me in quickly to do the scope and he correctly diagnosed me. I would say he is probably a good surgeon but has to work on his bedside manner and not to rely on him for information about your condition (he can diagnose it but not give detailed information about how to treat your condition depending on what it is).

Long wait times when waiting for my appt. no information provided about the nature of my procedure or any risks involved. Two weeks after my vasectomy I was still in pain went to see him for a check up waited for 3 hrs for him to pinch me hard on my vasectomy scar and downplay my worries and ridicule me. Made me feel as if I was wasting his time. Very poor bedside manner would strongly recommend getting a vasectomy done elsewhere.
