Went to the ER at Scarborough General, Dr Sunil attended to me. Very professional, great bed side manner & great personality. Wish he had a private clinic, too bad y he only works in the ER.

Attended SH Birchmount ED with my 93 year old father (F). F receives regular supportive blood transfusions at SH Birchmount to deal with his MDS (blood cancer). Due to F's co-morbidities and mobility deficits, transfusions in the ED is a better fit than out-patient transfusion clinic. Dr Sunil completed assessment and ordered blood transfusion including a conservative transfusion rate of 4 hours/unit and a IV diuretic between units to minimize risk of transfusion adverse circulatory overload (TACO). I recognize my F does not 'fit well' in either ED or out-patient clinic, but his needs are better met in ED. No push back from Dr Sunil for using ED for supportive care. Dr Sunil provided timely and thorough assessment, and excellent communication - both in-person and in his ED Visit Notes uploaded on patient portal MyCharts. Much appreciation to Dr Sunil and staff including triage nurse and attending nurse for the care they provided this past Friday evening and Saturday morning.
