Hi, I had a Nasal Septal Reconstruction and a polyp removed from the nose. It seems like an easy operation for less then an hr. However, I got very sick straight away after the operation. Dr.Havas was telling me to start thinking positively and it was nothing wrong with me, it was just part of my recovery. I spent more then 3 mths in bed. Luckily, I was sent to see another doctor and I was taken to hospital.

I came across this website and the ratings and comments below on Dr Havas when researching him prior to my surgery. I accept that each individual has a different experience however in my experience, I found the following: The staff are compassionate and helpful. On referral to the clinic from my GP and after my attendance, the report was sent to my GP the same day. Dr HAVAS is a surgeon, he is not your friend nor a hand holder. He is matter of fact and there to do his job. He has an extremely busy practice and whilst some may feel like cattle being herded in and out of his office this is the way surgeries run. It is now the day after my surgery and I can already feel the change in my ability to breath after having a turbinoplasty. I recommend Dr HAVAS to anyone who wishes to have a job well done.

PROFESSOR Havas, key word Professor has been an amazing support through out my time spent fixing my daughters ears. He is a professor and the best in the country, if you can't afford to see a private dr, go to the public hospital and be operated on by an overseas registra. He is not paid to be your friend, he is paid to look after you medically. Professor Havas is the best in the country, I know this after seeing 10 ENT surgeons in Sydney alone.

What a rip. A basic 2 minute consult after waiting ages in an empty waiting room. Very arrogant and not interested in his patients. Avoid.

Wonderful Dr. Highly recommend Dr Havas, after going from ENT specialist to ENT specialist with no answers to my problems Dr Havas fixed me and I can breathe for the first time in 10 years easily!

Just came in for my first follow up appt – the staff have been professional and good about keeping in touch esp after an important surgery. I strongly disagree with some of the comments made below as my experience has been much different. The consultation and services received have been worth every penny and he has managed to get me in and out very efficiently!

Dr Havas was by far the most professional and knowledgeable specialist I have ever visited. After years of ill health due to a respiratory issue that had gone undiagnosed he was able to diagnose the issue and explain it to me in detail, taking the time to draw useful diagrams and explain everything in language I could understand. I could not recommend him more highly.

I had seen many ENT surgeons previously, but none compare to Professor Havas. His level of knowledge and surgical expertise are unmatched.
Yes he is efficient in his consultations, but rest assured the care is of the highest quality.
His staff are all very friendly and helpful.
All in all I cannot fault him.
