I don't recommend to bring your child to him, he wasn't helpful at all and a bit rude. He sent his referral back to my GP, not to the actual hospital, and when my GP contacted him he was also rude to him, very unprofessional.

Same story as everyone else! Dr Havas explained that he’d done more than 12,000 noses…no reason he couldn’t fix mine...that seemed completely reasonable to me. After two surgeries that both achieved no benefit, he wanted to sign off the job to say surgery had been a success. I told him that I’d come in with a nose I couldn’t breath out of…and I was leaving with a nose I couldn’t breath out of…so “no” the surgery was NOT a success. His explanation of why I could still not breath out of my nose defied belief and common logic. He was incredibly arrogant and did not want my opinion/feedback at any point.

A costly experience that I gained nothing from, it was an emergency slot and he did not advise of any treatment for the current problem yet told me to get surgery for other issues. Second opinion happening next week.

Had an expensive nose surgery as soon as the season ended. He stuffed it up, I have no airway in my right nostril. Went in for my checkup 8 weeks later and he said he needed to perform another “mini” surgery AT NO EXPENSE to me as he ADMITTED FAULT and that he’s a “perfectionist”. I turned up to the hospital 2 weeks later for him to say I have to pay a 6k bill to the hospital and a bill for the anaesthetist. First I heard of it. Who has 6k to spend on the spot. Didn’t get the fix surgery for HIS MISTAKE. I spoke to the nurse in the reception on the phone the previous day who said he was aggressive and careless because she called him “after hours” at 5pm to sort out the surgery. My brother had a much more complex full nose reconstruction surgery 4 weeks after my initial surgery with another surgeon (Dr Ram Siva) who was amazing. Totally different experience to me. Didn’t have any bleeding. Called him 3-4 times throughout the 7 days, to checkup how he was travelling and if he needed anything. Compared to Dr Havas who didn’t even tell me what to do post surgery. Had to Google it and talk to mates who had similar surgery’s. Do not go to this man. I could see past his arrogance if he done a good job lol

Promises the world doesnt deliver. After 2 surgeries a month apart for same thing trying to breathe thru nose 3 yrs laters now seeing another specialist. Staff all tippy toe and kiss his backside as his over confident ego convinces u he is great. Great salesman just my personal experience suggest try someone else.

I had a nasal reconstruction and polyp removal surgery with Professor Havas this year. I found him to be very professional and polite. I’m not sure where all these comments below about arrogance come from – I found him to strike the correct balance between professionalism and understanding / sympathy. He also saw me for initial consult and got me in for surgery very promptly, as opposed to the 4-5 month waiting period with some other equivalently qualified ENTs.
Total cost was around $4500. Sure, this isn’t cheap, but the surgery has been effective, my recovery has been smooth, and all of the regularly scheduled follow up visits to check progress have been included in this price. Occasionally there was a wait to see him in his surgery, but I think this is worth it.
I would happily recommend Professor Havas to others.

Other than the fact he is always running late he was very knowledgeable and his staff are lovely. My whole family sees him. 5 STAR!!!

I couldn’t sing Professor Havas praises more. He is an amazing surgeon and fixed up my 2 sons ears with grommets. The girls behind the reception are great, Juliet the audiologist is wonderful and so good with children…

My experience with dr havas and his staff couldn’t be any better :)) amazing dr and amazing staff. Recovered from surgery very quickly as it was perfectly done !! Would recommend him to anyone!!
